Would leave no stars but can’t.. Just closed my storage unit had to throw damn near all my belongings away. There was water damage on several of the items in the unit. The whole unit was full of cockroaches. I’ve never seen such an infestation in my life! I saw roaches crawling into other units. Very upset that this happened. Will never use this storage company again. You are better off paying extra money for a closed AC unit indoors. I paid $80 a month for a storage unit for 2 years.

Mold , mold and more mold the place has a water drainage problem that allows water to enter the storage units when it rains an employee told us this as my family was showing him all are damaged belongings the employee was wearing a face mask to protect him from the mold telling us that they've been having to remove the drywall in all the units because black mold is growing up the walls and we had to throw away over 80 % of all the belongings including couches clothes and other things then letting us know that…
I have had a terrible experience at this establishment. My review is not from a place of anger but a warning. This place is infested with rats. I have had to throw away a couple thousand dollars of my stuff not only because it was chewed up but because there are so many of them I had to throw stuff away because of rat urine saturating my stuff. The ceilings in the units are nothing more than insulation covered with stretched white plastic.
Customer service in this day and age is vital. Respect is key. This location has no customer service or respect. They don’t care about getting correct information or doing what’s right. They want to point fingers and accuse first. Then when it’s realized that it was storage company error it’s oh well.

Pretty sad that we all pay GREAT money to be here. Yet if they have people doing work on the property those contractors come first. Tried to use the bathroom that I PAY FOR, and had the contractors shaking their heads NO to me, cause the five of them were all waiting on one bathroom.
Hello Brian. The contractors were not waiting for the bathroom, they were there to make improvements to our property. They were standing around the bathroom because the unit they were working on is next to it. Feel free to stop in the office with future concerns.

My brother is in the military left his things in storage here everything was ruined by mold and owner would not compensate him for all of his house hold goods being destroyed
The units may have a mouse problem. I personally found droppings in my unit. Plus the price is getting hot high. Time to find a new storage unit.

I've been a customer at United Self Mini Storage for 6 years. I visit the area seasonally and have accumulated a lot of stuff. It's always a pleasure to work with Tom. Two years ago, I got tired of moving my things. I asked Tom whether he knew anyone who would do a small move at a reasonable rate. He referred me to Kevin at Care Packages and I've been very happy with his service too. In this era when customer service is sometimes hard to find, it's good to know that you can get it here.
