In their own words
I was holding off on this review as I’d hope the owner Wiley would do the right thing, but that was not the case. This will be a lengthy review, but I feel it is necessary. Let me start by saying the initial experience was ok, but then everything went down hill. We were scheduled to have our items sent to our destination on 6/29, but were called by Wiley to “do him a favor” and have our items picked up on 6/23.
I scheduled my move with 2 men for 9 am and reserved the elevators in both buildings for that time. The night before I was informed that my time was changed to 1pm. The movers didn’t show up until 2 hours later than the new time the changed my move to. Which caused a lot stress on my end since my cable company was coming at 2pm and the elevators were already booked but luckily my building was able to work with me.
Purchased used wooden vaults from Willy, $7000 cost. Vaults were disassembled by his team and put on pallets. Once I received them and was able to unload everything we realized the Vaults were in poor condition, severely damage when his crews disassembled them, extremely filthy, missing parts, and several of them were water damaged. Willy has be unresponsive to my complaint. Highly recommend YOU DON'T do business with them. Poor unethical business practices, can't be trusted.
Do NOT recommend. We wanted to support a local company so went with WM instead of using a previous company we trusted. Owner is not transparent. We were overcharged by 2 hours. The owner said 1 hour was a "transportation fee" for a 1-mile move. This was not included in the estimate or communicated prior to our move. The movers also broke two pieces of antique furniture they wrapped/unwrapped and didn't say anything. I discovered it when they left.
They are terrible movers. They packed up my stuff before I got there and left. I called to let them know i was on my way and arrived before the scheduled appointment time. Horrendous communication. Got to the drop off location didn't listen to me and just put the stuff in unit.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This company moved my mother and has been nothing but a problem. They delivered her items later than scheduled. When the items arrived not only were they damaged but some were missing. After months of being …

Long story short, we contacted this company about a moving estimate. A representative from the company came out to count our stuff, and gave us an estimate of $3700. We decided to do business with them contingent upon this estimate. …

I can’t recommend WM movers enough! Moving is always a stressful experience and they made our recent move a breeze, thanks to their friendly, efficient and incredibly quick service. From the first contact, the team was professional and helpful. They provided a clear quote and answered all our questions patiently. On moving day, the crew arrived on time, were a pleasure to work, and took great care of our belongings throughout the entire process.
I am an executive who has moved multiple times across my career. I have usually employed national, large firms. This local company came highly recommended and I am glad I chose them. They were great. Flexible (I had to change my move date twice!), timely, nice, thorough, clean, and responsive throughout the day to do whatever was indicated. Highly recommended!
This is the second time we use Will and his crew and they are the best. They are careful, considerate, and incredibly hard working. They are very affordable for the quality of the work they deliver and will go out of their way to make your move stress-free. Highly recommend them.
Had the pleasure of working with Wilgen Jr., extremely fair pricing, workers were quick and respectful. Made the stressful process of moving much easier to navigate, and was overall a pleasant experience. 100% would recommend.
