5 stars for the moving, very fast, efficient and painless. I'm giving 1 star because they forced me to write a review while the mover watched over my shoulder, which basically made me feel obligated to give them 5 stars considering they were still in the process of moving some of my furniture.

The 3-man moving crew did a great job of moving our belongings from our old 2-bedroom apartment to our new 3-story townhome in about 6.5 hours (including the 40 minute drive). The movers texted me the morning of the move with their ETA and they arrived on time. All our furniture was covered and wrapped up with padding. Miscellaneous items that we could not pack ourselves like framed pictures and paintings were carefully packed into larger boxes or were wrapped with extra protection.

I’ve moved in New York City over a dozen times and by far my experience with 1st Moving was the best. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to move from New York to Boston in one week. 1st Moving came through with a great price and within my timeframe. They were super friendly, fast and efficient. My entire two bedroom apartment was moved from New York to Boston in one day without any damage, headaches or games. Truly one of the best movers I have ever worked with! The attention to detail, competence and genuine care was remarkable.
