Ok I moved on a Wednesday was quoted about 6 hours took 10 hrs. Guys showed up at the door at 9 am and I almost passed out from the body odor before they started. WORST EXPERIENCE YOU COULD IMAGINE. So they never once wore shoe covers place was an absolute disaster. I had to move several car loads myself. They left behind so much stuff after saying they got everything. The most unprofessional thing I’ve EVER come across in my life. I called several times calls not answered.
Ms. Holter was charged for moving services based on an hourly rate she was given when she scheduled the move. The move took 10 hours to complete. The move may have been completed faster if her items were organized, packed and ready to go … More
I do not recommend 5 Star Moving in Fargo ND. It is a long story and I’m sure they would come back with a scathing response that absolves them of all responsibility in the matter, like most of their responses to other one-star reviews. I do not entirely fault them for canceling on my mom the morning of the scheduled move; they do include a clause in their contract which allows them to refuse a move at the last minute if the place or belongings do not meet their cleanliness standards.

We had 5 Star Moving load and unload our uhaul truck. We preset a time as Linda owner stated she needed one month advanced notice. Low and behold 1 week before our move she had an employee taking the day off. That really put us in a bind. So instead of our unload time at 10 am it was at 1 pm. During the loading one of their employees forcefully pushed his legs and body against our expensive courier cabinet and pushed the glass out. Keep in mind our piece was bubble wrapped and pack well for the move.

We hired 5 star moving to move a piano for us recently. We setup an appointment time after my work day. They called roughly an hour early and said they were almost there, luckily I was able to arrive at the same time. The 3 man crew …
We have no record of moving Mr. Stokka. I am glad to see he was able to get the piano moved.
They only do high end moving and don't do stairs. The owner came out in a high vehicle. He was told that there were stairs. He said that the condition of my furniture was poorly.the company is not 5 star in my opinion.
We do not have any issues with moving items from a second floor apartment. As I explained in the email, we decided against doing the move because of the strong smoke smell in the apartment and the condition of some of the items.

It is always frustrating when there are damaged items, however it is very difficult for us to take responsibility for damaged items that were out of our position for over a week and traveled over 1,000 miles to your new home. Plus, we did not unload the furniture at your final destination.
Great start, terrible finish. Provided no bill and simply charged my card. Damaged multiple pieces of furniture, damaged walls. Left tools, took my tools and then forgot to return them. Look elsewhere.

We chose 5 Star moving, because my wife was familiar with their work with a local charitable organization. Boy, was she right! Brian, the president of 5 Star, came to our home in Fargo, inventoried our belongings to be moved, provided an estimate, and gave us a move timetable that exactly met our needs. When the 5 Star team showed up to pack our goods and load the truck they were exactly on time and so courteous. They made the anxiety of making an inter-state move much more manageable.

Everything was top notch. Brian was very professional, helpful and kind. Every interaction I had with him was great. The movers were so nice, helpful, and quick.
