$755.... highway robbery minus the highway .... the location I moved from was 7 minutes away from this business and my new location was 15 minutes away from the business. $140 there and back driving time YES ($280) .... And then another hour before they actually started working due to texting and arguing amongst each other.
First, this is the only time hearing about your concerns about your bill. When you called in, we always state that travel time is always included in our estimated time. Yes, you are only 15 minutes away from our location and about 15 minutes to your new home and again about 15 minutes back to our…
At first the moving staff seemed very professional, they came the same day took inventory and worked very hard to accommodate my move. Then they came to pack up my items; they mainly followed my requests and were,upfront about what couldnt be moved or packed. When it was time to go to my additional locations the guy handling the paperwork acted as if he was oblivious to the other locations and insisted he knew nothing about those. Those items were not included, which wasn't horrible but that wasn't the agreement.
As the owner of the home they moved someone out of..be warned. If their people do damage..only the person who hired them can get it fixed. I had damage to my walls and Rick came out to see it..but couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it because my ex who hired him told him "not to worry about it". So I'm screwed I guess. Rick saw the damage..but said his hands were tied. So be warned..they can get away with damaging your house Edit to owner response. Actually its Ms. Farmer.
Mrs Fisher, Good afternoon, I’m sorry this damage was not taken care of. We did move your Husband about 2 months ago, and we did damage the wall. When we moved your Husband, we need a third man to help due to the large amount that needed to be done.
I was told to send pictures and a price would be sent to me. I was told $350 for the items in the pictures I sent. 5 boxes were added on and he charged me an extra $50. Ok here is the awful part, half of my items from the pictures I sent him are still sitting in the house I am moving from. I was told $350 was the price for 1 truck full of items to be moved after he said everything in the pictures was included in the $350. Fine, but why do you have your personal items in the back of the truck with my things?
We do not have a record of moving you. Where are you located? We are ABC Movers in Toledo OH. We do not move on a flat rate we have an hourly rate only. Please feel free to call us at [phone removed].
The two movers were nice but slow as can be. We were later told that the third person that was supposed to help them got pulled away for another job. Boxes were dropped and several items were broken. In order to be reimbursed for the items several forms had to be filled out which could take forever. After the long process of them moving items we had to help them move several items off the truck in order to get things done. The person we talk to on the phone about all of this was rude and nasty.
My experience is based on the pick up day cancellation and may change after the entire moving. They cancelled last minute and were extremely difficult to get a hold of. I have to leave my current apartment tomorrow and they still haven’t confirmed a pick up time.

My experience with ABC Movers began a few weeks before my move date. I already had a moving company but someone recommended ABC so I though I would at least call them. Im so glad I did. Rick genuinely cared about my move and kept the same date I had already scheduled. I can't express how he seemed to care about making this move as easy for me as possible. After hanging up with him I cancelled the other mover and had a very good experience with ABC.
An excellent company who went out of their way to help me move, provided great advice when I asked, and solved some tricky packing for an unusual item. The movers were punctual and friendly, worked fast, and were very professional. I highly recommend ABC!

Such a seamless move from Toledo to Columbus! From the estimate to the day the men showed up, professionalism from the movers and the owner was extremely responsive to our questions along the way.
I've never had such an awesome experience working with any company, service, or corporation before. This was our first time hiring movers and after calling around, decided they were the best priced and the person I talked to was the nicest, so we went with a.b.c. Best decision and every penny well spent(not even that many pennies the price was so good.) We had to hire them a month ago to put all of our stuff into storage and then again yesterday to get it out to the new place.
