Worst decision EVER! Broke & scratched multiple items. Lost some of our most expensive things. Rushed loading & unloading. Sexual comments throught some of their movers. TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE! I have been way overcharged. They hold yr items hostage until you pay them. Never again.

I will not start off the review with things that might have been out of their control. My experience with the company are as followed. Pick up day 1. Management over loaded their staff’s work load. (2 men moving a 3 bedroom house before getting to our home.) 2. Being over worked they missed their arrival window by 3 hours. 3. With the truck being behind schedule the movers stopped for food without calling us. We remained sitting outside looking for the truck. 4.

The move from HELL. First they send a truck that is too small. Then they take it to Ohio and put it in an warehouse with no heat control and leave it there for 2 weeks before delivering it to our home - during July when temperatures were soaring in the midwest. Just about every piece of our lovely furniture has a gouge, scratch, scrap or broken corner on it. I am heartbroken. Antique pottery - which was carefully and securely packed - were broken.

Do not use this mover. I have moved 7 times and this time I decided to use a local company instead of a national chain. I was moving from Ohio to Florida. On the day of my move, I was waiting for them to arrive and had called twice and was assured they were "on the way". I called a 3rd time, they checked my name and had my move scheduled for the next day. They gave me no options and did not take responsibility for the major mistake! I was all packed up with my pets ready to drive to FL and had no movers.

Friendly movers but the first thing that happened is they loaded our home contents and said they'd see us at the new house and then they didn't show up. We called--no answer. We called the highway patrol to see if they were in an accident. No record of one. Then we slept the night on the floor wondering if we’d see our home contents. They came the next day saying they’d gone home for the night but didn’t bother to let us know.

Kane and his partner did a great job packing up our home. Once we moved to South Carolina and bought a home we called right away for delivery. This was four weeks before the closing date on the new home. Lack of communication, we had to move into a house with no furniture. The movers showed up a week later. The two guys who brought our furniture were so unprofessional they put all the boxes in the garage. When asked to bring them inside they said alright and left.

Horrendous experience. Nicole was very attentive in the beginning, assuring me we would be taken care of and I had her as a point of contact during the move for any issues. Similar to others, the communication and organization was off from the beginning. Was told by Nicole our cross-state move would likely take 2 days, loading the truck partially on day 1, staying somewhere secure overnight, coming back next day to finish and drive to destination, so I planned to drive up to the destination in day 2, able to…

One year later, I still would not recommend Interstate Moving or Glass City Movers. My move from Florida to Pennsylvania cost over $36,000, and despite months of planning, the companies were unprepared, failed to honor their commitments, and left me with additional expenses. I spent three months researching movers because this was a move involving two entire estates. Six months before the move, I completed a detailed video inventory of every item with an Interstate representative.
