We were moving out of the house and the movers arrived. I went down the driveway to ask them to back up so we could get out. The driver was pointing and yelling so I walked down and he was extremely rude asking us what our problem was. I …
Do not use this company. They are scam artists who take advantage of unsuspecting people. We hired them to move some of our heavier furniture from the home we sold to a rental home about 3 miles away. Cost at the end of a 12 hour day $5000.00. The guys milked the clock carrying items such as a single lamp and even moved a washer and dryer that we specifically said stayed with the house. I have posted on Yelp the pictures of the mess they left our rental house in but the owner keeps deleting them.
Our neighbors used this company to move. When the moving truck arrived, they parked their truck and completely blocked our driveway. My husband asked the driver and his assistant to move the truck around so it would not block our access to the house. They responded, "I will move it if you ask nicely". The situation escalated and my husband called the home office to have them move their truck. They still didn't move stating that they only had 30 more minutes left (they were there for four more hours).
I wouldn't recommend They were late They don't make sure your TV is wrapped in bubble wrap or something to make sure it's safe so now my tv is busted and then they tell you to file a claim They dropped boxes in a puddle on the stairs knowing they knew that now cloth are wet and smelly thanks and then they were dropping stuff that messed up a table leg and I'm pretty sure they double charged me because 626 and 40 tip just to move two couches and maybe 10 or 13 boxes and from Carmichael to west sac save your money…

We had a unique challenge merging two homes into one, and this mover made the process seamless. The team was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Although our dining table was accidentally scratched, they promptly had it refinished. A Better Moving & Storage is professional, honest, and reliable—simply the best!
I did not personally hire this company but work in an assisted living facility where I saw the movers from this company work. I have seen several moving companies do moves for people, but this company stood out. The two men doing the "move in" were the most patient and respectful workers. I was so impressed with how careful they were moving items in around the elderly residents walking around the facility.
