I put things into storage several years ago, although they were to only be there a short while. Based on long letters in my file, I see that the initial move was a bit contentious. The move was split--part into long-term storage, and part into a house 150 miles away. That move turned out to be several thousand dollars which I believe was much more than I had anticipated. Fast forward to several years later when I got the long-term out of storage and moved into a house.
This is the worst storage company around! They say there is a grace period for you to pay if are not on auto pay.. Lies! They take extra charges for absurd things like trash left behind! I dont want to talk about their moving service! A.J's …

I have dear lifelong friends who decided to leave CA for AZ, after living in CA for 75 years. I recommended they contact Mee's for a quote. I have known the Filer family for over 20 years. I am so disappointed that I made the recommendation. The transportation of the items was a cluster from start to finish. My friends were given a window of when their items would arrive and they made plans accordingly.
Terrible experience. Arrived at house without packing material for mattress/box spring or flat panel TVs. Had treadmill to move - electronics disassembled by pulling things apart. No contact for 3 weeks, then called out of the blue to deliver with no one home. Load transferred 4 times prior to delivery. Treadmill broken due to mishandling - electronics. To replace mother board cost is as much as treadmill... Mees will not pay; working with lawyer to sue.
Our experience started great, but ended poorly. The Mee’s rep badly underestimated the weight/cost on our job and, consequently, the van that showed up couldn’t accommodate all our furniture. A second truck picked up the remaining items a couple of days later, but, after 3 weeks, has yet to deliver. We’re now 11 days past the promised date on our contract, have had 5 different promises of when the rest of our belongings will arrive, and we’re still waiting.
I will be fair and update this IF someone calls me back to remedy the hole they put in our door which we are being held responsible for from our landlord!! And even though we only moved 10 miles from previous home, it took the movers 12 hours to move us and one the guys kept disappearing so my son and I had to start helping. They did not set up my bed despite a 200 tip and they left drinks and trash on both properties
I would carry my furniture on my back before I ever used this company again or recommend it to anyone. My husband & I were quoted "not to exceed 3300" for a local move less than 10 miles away. Plans changed a bit & we needed to store our …
