I hired this company for a 2-bedroom move approximately 1.5 miles away, with a total cost around $2,000 at $250/hour. Scheduling and communication beforehand were smooth, and they were able to accommodate a Sunday move, which I appreciated. However, the execution on moving day was disappointing. The job took about 7 hours on-site plus transit, whereas similar moves I’ve had typically take closer to 4 hours.

This company deliberately overbilled me for my move by not providing staff capable of moving large items. They have deceptive billing practices and act unethically.They billed full rate for their employees to get lunch on the clock. …
This customer just didn’t wanna pay for other move. They were looking for a cheap move. We are not a cheap moving company. We protect the furniture in a fashionable time frame and make sure nothing gets broken. We are five star company. These guys work hard.

I used A Few Good Men Moving yesterday. Everyone knows how stressful moving can be - they made it a lot less stressful. These are not service people who hate what they do and want to pass that stress off to you. From the first step to the last they had a positive attitude and great customer service. I did an out of state move and LJ called while I was on the road and before the movers left to ensure everything was ok.
I found A Few Good Men Moving & Storage because of their flyers and gave them a call for my move last Sunday! I had the pleasure of first speaking to Kai, and then to LJ who was also really amazing, and took time to chat with me and check in on me multiple times make sure everything was going smoothly. Everyone was really involved, helpful, and the move went easily with the help of Gael who coordinated by phone and the fantastic team Luis, Jordi, and Pappa (which was pretty amazing because the building logistics…
