I used Alex and his team to move a few items from my house, including a treadmill. When they tried to get the treadmill out the front door, some damage was done to the hardwood floor because no blankets, towels, or rugs were put down to protect it. The damage wasn't a big deal to me - it could easily be fixed. I sent an e-mail to see how to proceed with getting it fixed or getting compensated for the damage. I was assured that they would have a contractor come out to see me to assess the damage.

Be warned: Alex from American Smart Movers plays pricing games. He’ll quote one rate and crew size upfront, then change it at the last minute (few days before the move) to raise the cost. In reality, only two movers do the heavy lifting while the third just wraps items and doesn’t handle any of the real work. What you agree to and what you get are not the same. It’s manipulative and dishonest—avoid this company.

They give you excellent service for the low range price they charge compared to some other moving company's. I used them 6/2/2025 and I was very impressed by their professional workmanship, they makes moving seem fun, because I myself was somewhat stress. As I was unsure if they could move my hospital bed. But like everything else they had taken it apart, and loaded onto truck. So everything is on the truck by12noon started at 9am, I was too meet them at the new location.

The crew wrapped, packed and moved my item with the upmost care and efficiency. Very adaptive to the situation and provided boxes for items not packed. Wrapped mattresses and boxed TVs. Outstanding service and responsive!

"We used this company for our move on 04/27/26 and couldn't be happier. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The crew, led by Carlos arrived right on time and were very professional and friendly. They handled our furniture with extreme care, wrapping everything securely, and didn't waste any time getting items loaded, even managing tricky furniture around tight corners. The estimate was accurate with no surprise costs at the end.

Despite the large number of boxes and items, the team handled everything with exceptional professionalism and care.
