The rating breakdown
1 of the 47 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for A Friendly Storage Place are one or two star.
Worked out from 47 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other listings in San Rafael
About the same as the middle of the 12 listings in San Rafael we can publish a rate for.

What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I had an excellent experience with this storage facility. The staff went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and stress-free. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, especially during some unexpected extenuating circumstances. Their willingness to work with me and make special accommodations truly showed how much they care about their customers. It’s rare to find a team so understanding, responsive, and dedicated to providing outstanding service.
Thank you Elise We were happy to help you and glade we were there for you in your time of need. We truly in enjoy helping our customers. Everyone of them are very important to us and we really appreciate their business It was very kind of you to take the time to leave us a great review.
This place was a lifesaver. We had a house fire a couple years ago and had to find a storage place quickly and for a reasonable price. Ron and AFSP were quick to respond and move in was easy. If you need a storage place in San Rafael, this is the place.
Thank you very much David It was our pleasure being there for you We are very happy to hear your house has been repaired and your now moving back into it. I know it’s been a long two years for you and your family We wish you all the best
This place lives up to its name. My own experience, alongside many that I see here online...is that people ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place...and IMO, for VERY good reason. There is so much I could say in the so many ways that this place and it's staff made me so very comfortable "going with them"...from start to finish. Moves are stressful. And this team made it SO EASY (e.g. stress reduction immediately, from the first call to A Friendly Storage Place).
Thank you very much Jordan The world needs more people like you and we are happy to have you as one of our customers
I can't speak highly enough to the level of service I was provided while renting a unit at Friendly. I was in the process of moving across the country and ran into some car troubles along the way, so my intended start date/time got delayed. The owner was more than accommodating and came in to help me outside of his standard office hours. Really helped put my mind at ease during a stressful time. Personal service that you probably won't get from a big-box brand.
Thank you that’s very kind of you
