Above All The Rest Moving

TLDR: They are NOT insured and will not take any responsibility if anything goes wrong. Update: After seeing my Google Review, Mark contacted me. I thought this was a good start. They wanted to see the damage in person, and I gladly provided pictures and welcomed them to see the damage at proposed time. After several times of no show and no explanation, I never heard anything back. The movers showed up several hours late. However, I understand things happen.

It seems that the issues other had, I had as well. I suggest that anyone who has complaints with this company, not only write a bad review here but also file a complaint with FMCSA. I did just this and show they haven't had one written on them in the last four years! I was there first and it is probably because most consumers aren't aware of what you can do against a shady company like this. I was given a quote of what it wouldn't exceed.

They under estimated our house. The truck was too small. We had to pay extra for an additional unit to pull behind a pickup and they still didn’t get it all. They left my plants at the old house and said they were going to go back and get them for us. Not only did they NOT get them, they never reimbursed us either. Planters were expensive. My plants had been with me for years! I want my plants.

Scheduled a move for 8am, that was pushed back due to keys being locked into the vehicle that had to be professionally opened, understandable, these things happen. Had to continually reach out for updates (3-4 times) before being told we were being handed off to a sub-contract and that we would be contacted shortly about our service and assured it would be handled. After 6pm and losing a day waiting, we gave up on waiting to be contacted and went with another company.

Used them 4 years ago with no issues. They even told me I would get a discount for leaving a good review (which I previously did). Chose to use them again for another move. It was scheduled 2 weeks in advance for a 10am move. At 10:15 I called because they hadn't showed up. He said the truck broke down in Calallen and they were waiting for AAA. Why they didn't bother calling to say they would be delayed I don't know. 11:30 still nothing so I called again. He said AAA had just shown up. Then he said "Stop worrying.

I engaged this company three weeks ago to move my grandmother into assisted living today. They are allegedly familiar with the policies and procedures of Trinity Towers, which has specific moving hours, and assured me there would me no issue. They called me when they were supposed to arrive at 9am to report that they had a problem with a move the prior day and had to finish the job. They would be late but would be there as soon as possible.

Let me begin by saying that I would NOT ever recommend this business to friends or enemies. Mostly because I feel like I got ripped off and I felt like care was not taken with any of our personal items and the movers were more focused on looking through all of our things rather the moving them. Where to start... My husband called to get a moving quote for a 2 bedroom apartment using 2 movers. He was quoted $150. The day of our move the movers showed up 3.5 hours late with 3 people.

We used Above All The Rest Moving to move our possessions from Corpus Christi to Boerne just after the first part of the new year. . They come across really professional and diligent and was prepared to be impressed with their service... Except, and this is a very big except - they left two pieces of furniture that were supposed to be moved . One piece was noticed immediately and Mark did pick it up and supposedly put it in his storage.
