Affordable Reliable Moving and Storage

I’m very sorry to write a one star review for this company. I have never done this before but in my opinion, the damage was too great to ignore. This company took on our moving job. We were unfortunately overseas and I did a walk through with the owner on video chat. He was in my property but I was overseas. At that time, he told me he would not be at the move, and I did feel nervous. He assured me that he would communicate thoroughly with his crew and his crew were good he said.

Would give zero stars!!! DO NOT USE THEM...Broken 55 in TV, shattered large lighted vanity mirror, broken mirrored dresser, broken armoire (shattered sides) stole leaf blower with extension cord. Moved 2 blocks away. per “Derek” “we don’t even know that TV actually worked, accidents happen “. Want to replace with 0.60 cents per pound ; not value of items.

We used this company several times,we believe the quality and experience of the some of the new employees is not good.They do not take care of your furniture, they dented my refrigerator which was 2 months old, broke my fans, scratched other items. They worked slow so the hourly rate would add up. They came late both days. The reason it toke 2 days was the slow movement.

Update: Thanks for the reply, but I am pretty much over it. It was just an expensive lesson to learn for me not to trust packers. This was about 2 years ago. I figured that if you were going to keep asking for a review, I would give you one. Original: They might be fine for very short local moves. But I would not hire them to pack for a cross country move. There was quite a bit of damage to many items. I bought straps for them to use while packing. When the trailer was unpacked, none of the straps were used.

This was one of the most frustrating moving experiences I’ve ever had. We were quoted 4 hours of work for $648, and from the beginning it felt like the movers were intentionally wasting time. The biggest issue is that they were literally moving us within the same complex. They acted like they were lost, even after we showed them exactly where they needed to go.

The moving company cancelled my move date without letting me know. The moving company would not honor that date even though the recognized they made an error, so I had to change my closing date for the alternative date. I never received an explanation or apology from the sales person, who I believe was a contracted individual and not an employee. The company provided a minimal discount off the move because of the incident, but nowhere near the amount commensurate with the error or inconvenience .

Very slow working and took the longest route possible to my house then tried to charge me for it. Had multiple items broken once I started opening boxes. Scratches all over my stuff (bookcase, desk, fridge) got the job done but very slow for a service that charges by the hour. I’ve used moving companies a LOT for much bigger moves that took half the time this move took. Very disappointed.
