This is my statement in regard to my move with All About Moving. 1) The truck arrived at 9:30 and yet we were charged from 9am, even though they are not supposed to charge until they arrive to the destination. 2) I was guaranteed three hard-working movers to move our things. a. One only went up and down our three-floor walkup one bedroom apartment about 4 times. b. One was 72 years old, not in great shape, sweating profusely, looked like he was going to pass out. c.
Hired to move a storage unit. Day 1 I was charged correctly per the bill I was given. Day 2 they added an undisclosed destination charge and charged me for 4 men when we only had 3. On top of that... they put $1500 of undisclosed holds while also charging me for one of the days. When I tried to get it resolved I was screamed at and they spoke over me. Then they proceeded to harass me after I told them we would let my bank figure it out. I had to threaten calling the cops because they kept calling to yell at me.
The actual move went smoothly and the movers themselves, Junior and his team was great. Also, the quoted price was great. However, the manager Steve was horribly rude and screamed at me due to a miscommunication within their office. I have never ever been yelled at by a stranger in that way and it rattled me for a long time.
I hired this company to move me from a 3rd floor to a 3rd floor. They knew this. I was quoted 4.5 hours and was told from the minute they got there that it was a 6 hour job (it took 3 guys 2.45 hours to move me into the apartment I was moving from) They arrived at 10:06 am and didn't start until almost 10:30 (I was charged for this time as well as for the several breaks that they took). The complaining about the move started from the time they got there and continued throughout the move.

I had contracted for a pack and move, meaning they bring boxes and pack things like books, dishes etc. I also indicated I had a dirt bike that I needed moved. The crew arrived on time with a u haul truck and no packing material. …
These people are rude and unprofessional. They lied to you about low hourly cost then took forever to move. They broke our stuff. Don’t use them.

I had an excellent experience with All About Moving. John, Derek, and Dylan were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. They were professional, friendly, extremely polite, and worked incredibly fast while still handling everything with great care. I used All About Moving for our recent move once again. I think I have used them the last 4-5 moves, over the last decade plus. They are always the lowest hourly rate and they have three guys where I have found other moving companies only have two guys. They always bring a massive truck so there are no issues with fitting our stuff inside. They are organized, protect our belongings and always wrap everything to make sure nothing gets damaged.
