My realtor recommended this place as they are affiliated with KW. What a glowing list of review on google just to be let down. The crew did a decent job although they did scratch up both my old and new places. No big deal, I can just paint over. Still gave them a big tip. But this place does NON-BINDING quotes. While the ppl providing the quote being very nice and reasonable, on moving day the "manager" who provides final quote on the phone tried bait and switch on me.

My experience was awful and I do not recommend Alpha Moving to anyone. The chief of the crew was all the time very rude, and since the beginning has been trying to make additional money on us. He arrived telling that he had parked the truck in a forbidden place and we would have to pay all the fines and tickets (however, the contract set forth that all the tickets were Alpha Moving liability), that if the moving was late, he would charge us more, and by the end of the day we had a very hard time with him.

Terrible experience. I have moved numerous times. Tacked on a lot of charges and in the end they broke my bed (bed frame was worth about 5k alone), my lamp, trashed my rugs (brand new white rug) and carpeting with dirty shoes, broke my glassware. Use a reputable company. As far as the claims department, a joke. I have tried calling back numerous times. I have a job so when you give me specific times and dates on a different time zone, real helpful. Would take my business to any other moving company.

I had a very unfavorable experience with Alpha Movers. I had minimal furniture but many boxes and cartons to be moved from NJ to NC. Two end tables, a coffee table and a lamp were damaged. There were also many boxes missing. I filed a claim which took 4 months to settle. They offered me $144.00 which was ludicrous. The ended up paying me $300. This was not anywhere close to the actual loss. I would definitely not recommend them.
Alpha movers provided bad advice, destroyed my staircase and took no responsibility. They assured me before engaging them that insurance was not required for my small piano and I trusted them. On moving day when they realized the piano …

Alpha Moving & Storage is a fantastic company. I was in a bit of a pickle and needed some help moving some pallets of equipment which is really outside of their normal scope of work. Alpha was great with our beginning of summer move. Our belongings were well cared for and we were well taken care of. I should have asked for more clarity on the pricing, as we were charged a significant amount for "packing," which was the time and materials for padding and wrapping large items. When I was getting estimates, this service was included by other companies. Overall, excellent service and we would use them again.
