Please do not use this company for the following reasons:. 1) They began by missing an appointment for a virtual estimate of my home (keep reading, that's nothing). 2) They proceeded to provide a quote which was suspiciously low, reserving the right to upcharge by 20% (which of course is their original intent). 3) They underestimated the time it would take to move me, allotting 2 days to pack and move and it ran over on the 2nd day (not the biggest deal, but not great).

Horrible sense of communication, unprofessional, rude and money hungry. What movers ask for a tip of.. in their words, at least 15"% before they even finish the job? Guy is unprofessional. All they did was complain about the job the whole day. The movers started asking for cash before the job was complete! Never expressed that Even after we assured them that we would compensate for the extra boxes and tip them. UNPROFESSIONAL.

I finally find the time to write a review about our experience with best Guy company. Maybe I was expecting a written apology or some kind of compensation from the owner, well, I did not get any, not from Guy anyway! We have been moving countries for 20 years, and I've never had such an unpleasant experience! You'll find the pictures (some of them) self explanatory. And yes I did give some instructions before they started and they did arrive 3 hours late! (We moved from New York in July!).

Disappointing Experience – Be Cautious if You’re a Young Couple Many people recommended Best Guy for our move from New York to Israel, so we hired them. The original quote was for under 200 cubic feet. After packing at our apartment, it jumped to 300, and once it reached the warehouse, it increased again to 400 — double the original estimate. We had even signed a document stating the total wouldn’t exceed 20% above the quote, yet it went far beyond that.

First red flag is when they went over the contract with me he let me know that tipping is customary, roughly $5-$10 per man per hour, but optional. I found it odd that this was put in writing, as I've never had anyone tell me upfront they expect a tip (and exactly how much). The foreman was also on the phone a lot, while another guy was watching videos. I told them from the get-go I expect everything to be picked up, yet they still left behind multiple items.

The WORST experience with the moving ever : The estimated moving time from the 2 bedroom appartment was 4 hours and it took 10 hours. The Estimator's contract was not worth the paper it was written on because the price guarantee was not to exceed 20% of the estimated and it was 100% over. I found the movers to be hard-working and reliable, and I assume they had no knowledge of the time and contract.

You need to tip them correctly or you could have bad surprises. The tips I gave was probably not enough and they increased my cubic volume estimate after that. We also offered coffees for everybody but it did not prevent them from swearing in Spanish. Most importantly our LG sound bar was missing when we received our furnitures. Interestingly, the sound bar was not on the inventory list made by the foreman. We used 4 different companies over the last 5 years and I would advise to be very careful with them.

The company employees some seriously unmotivated people who could not be bothered to really work. They overran the schedule by hours and ended at past midnight when they extorted additional payment to cover their slow work. I had to rent my …
