This is the worst company to EVER pay to move your stuff. If you care anything about your belongings find someone else. They was an hour and a half late...They messed up my floor in my new rent house the dropped and broke my washing machine took it back to have it repaired and it was still messed up and also broke my tv stand. They are soooo rude!!! I’m the office and the movers. I’m going to have to go to the better business bureau and take them to small claims court. This is a nightmare!!!
I'll start with the positives: They showed up on time and the movers were very polite, nice guys. 2 of the 3 were not very experienced, but the foreman? Owner? Team lead? was on hand to guide them. Unfortunately, the foreman didn't stick around more than a few minutes - just long enough to set the movers in motion and refuse to move some of my stuff ("we don't move TVs because last week a customer accused us of breaking hers - but she couldn't prove it wasn't broken beforehand so we don't move TVs anymore" what??)…
I recently hired Alvin's Moving Company for what I hoped would be a straightforward job: swapping refrigerators between two houses. Unfortunately, the experience was filled with issues from the start. They arrived in a rented U-Haul with no tools. Firstly, the team arrived at the wrong house. Although my neighbor kindly let them in, this mix-up resulted in my food being left out for over three hours, leading to spoilage. This was not only inconvenient but also a waste of groceries and money.
[email removed] Worst customer service and lack of respect ... my mother is seeing impaired and 90 yrs old. They delivered a recliner and loveseat. Loveseat didnt have legs on. She asked what she was supposed to do... they told her to find a drill and put the legs on. She was hysterical when she called me. Boooooooooooo. We will never use this delivery service...ever. paid 85 dollars for delivery. 60 for regular delivery and 25 to deliver upstairs... theres an elevator.... never ever. ..

I have nothing but positive feedback for Alvin's Delivery and Moving Service. It started with the lady in the front office, excellent communication, handled all of my needs. The day of moving, the movers showed up early and handled all of my items in a timely and professional manner. The staff was friendly and did an amazing job. I can't recommend these people highly enough and I am so grateful for Alvin and the crew making my day so much easier. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed.
Two years ago, Alvin personally saved us in a difficult situation. We had a rented washer/dryer pickup scheduled for a Wednesday; we'd been renting the set and needed it returned before the next payment period and before our new washer and dryer arrived the next day. The driver who was supposed to do the pickup (falsely) marked us as "not at home" after seeing that we were on the second-floor apartment; he left and refused to come back when we called him immediately after seeing him drive off.
This company has good rates and they are very professional. The only issue I had is that the secretary told me that assembly is included in the price which is not accurate. The company charges extra to assemble any furniture. Other than that the movers were careful with my items and they were very respectful. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for movers.
These guys are absolutely awesome! Alvin came and helped himself, not expecting his team to do anything he wouldn't do himself. Very professional, very friendly and down to business. Mine was a hard move because of living in condo but second story didn't alter their professional attitude. Will use always again if needed in the future.
