Absolutely the worst service not given! They charge you too WALK after they tell you on the phone once they show up a day later and hours later then originally agreed an upon time they add on extra charges and fees. We even had less furniture then when we first called for the quote and it went from $2700 to over $5000. $1000 of which they tried charging us to walk to our storage unit! Hire at your own risk!! Grimy low down and dirty company with rude customer service!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. I went by these reviews and my first phone call with them. They were so helpful then when my move date came it was a nightmare. They misquoted me, off my $4000 stating I did not give them the right information. They were 5 days late with pickup with no communication- I had to call them for updates. When the movers came they used the stairs instead of the elevator at 8pm at night.

Joe, Jason and Sam did an INCREDIBLE JOB moving my parents this weekend. They are all extremely polite, professional and hard working. They arrived on time, communicated very well and there were absolutely no surprises when it came time to pay the bill. To top it off, their rates are extremely reasonable. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND American Moving & Storage!

American Moving & Storage moved our furniture, paintings, glassware, etc. from Dunedin, FL to Arlington, VA. We had 18 oil paintings as well as other artwork. (Some oil paintings as large as 4 x 5 feet). Everything arrived safe and sound. AM&S were easy to work with - very willing to do whatever was needed. They carefully packed individual pieces and unpacked them at the other end. They even moved pieces of furniture as needed as we tried to fit everything into our new, smaller home.

I can not say enough about Joe, Jason, and their crew. They moved us from Palm Harbor Florida, to Talking Rock Georgia. This was no easy move. They packed everything strategically in their truck. We thought there was no way it was going in just one truck. We were literally freaking out. They made it work. They arrived on time in Florida and Georgia. We also had an impossible task that they, like magicians, figured out how to tackle the job.

We had an excellent experience with American Moving and Storage. They were responsive, dependable, and tremendously helpful and kind throughout the entire move. My elderly mother was so stressed about leaving her home of 40 years to come to an entirely different state. Jason and his crew helped to make the experience not only stress-free but also pleasant. I would highly recommend this team for their professionalism, dependability, and thoughtful customer service.
