Terrible experience with Hall Brothers Moving Company. The movers were clearly amateurs — they dropped our furniture multiple times, damaged several pieces, and even lost screws we need to put things back together. One of the guys literally walked out in the middle of the move because he thought he wasn’t getting paid, which delayed everything (while we were still paying by the hour). We asked for 3 movers, but 4 showed up, and even with the extra person they were very slow.
Got a coupon from Living Social-- they arrived over an hour late, stating that their GPS wasn't working properly. They mentioned that for it's $80/hr for every hour over the two, charged in 15 minute increments of $20. Then proceeded to move as inefficiently and slowly as possible. One would CAREFULLY stack the boxes on the dolly and then roll them over to the stairs and then stack them so he could help the other guy load two at a time on his back and then help him unload them.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Hall Brothers Moving. We moved 2 one-bedroom apartments into a single two-bedroom apartment a few weeks ago and didn’t have a great experience. They reached out the night before to confirm the move and were very prompt the day of- which was much appreciated. The 2 initial guys that showed up were good. The issues started with the 3rd mover that showed up.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! They did over 500 dollars worth of damage in my brand new townhome and have fixed none of it even after saying they would fix it. I have called well over 15 times and sent a detailed email of the damages and costs to fix it (per their request).They sent 2 different guys out to look at the damages but they both did absolutely nothing but waste my time. One didn't even show up the first time. Ultimately I spent months trying to get these issues resolved with no luck.
I was asked by the company to leave a review of my experience, so I’m going to be honest. I was propositioned after completing the transaction and tipping. When receiving my receipt, I was asked, “Do you want someone to keep you company until you move?” I said, “what?” because I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. He had the audacity to repeat the question. I felt very uncomfortable and vulnerable as they had just been inside my home, handling my belongings.

They may appear cheaper than other movers. But they are slower, too. Our move-in was only a 2-hr job; but it took them had a day to love us out. They take LONG TIME to wrap everything. I’m willing to pay for the extra time as long as they take care of the furniture. But they still damaged our furniture! Even worse, they REFUSE TO COMPENSATE! Disappointing and unprofessional. Pay some more for a more reputable company. The risk is not worth the money saved.

I had a fantastic experience with this moving company. Scheduling was a breeze with just a email to Wendy. The team showed up on time, were extremely professional, and handled everything with care and efficiency. They worked quickly without rushing, protected my furniture well, and had a great attitude the whole time. My husband & I had an excellent experience with Hall Brothers Moving, specifically Chuck & Demetrius! Booking process was straightforward. They came with plenty of equipment that was well maintained, communicated well with us, worked efficiently & handled all belongings with genuine care. Our move took much longer than we anticipated due to the amount of items we had and we were actively packing, however they handled it professionally, stayed until the end & made sure we did not feel burdensome.

Would 100% recommend Hall Brothers. They showed up early, moved the furniture efficiently and quickly. Nothing was broken or damaged either. Very polite and friendly people. Great price as well. Will be using them for future moves!
Hall Brothers did a great job removing a 1000+ lb safe from my office. The office door was 1/2” wider than the safe, and at an odd angle to a narrow hallway. I was concerned with the doorframe being damaged and the weight of the safe damaging the engineered floors. The movers were professional, took precautions to make sure the floor wouldn’t be damaged and completed the job quickly. I will use them again for any of my moving needs.
