Our experience with Amplified Moving was an absolute disaster, and I would strongly caution anyone against trusting this company with their belongings. We were quoted a little over $500 for a three-hour, two-person move. We fully disclosed our inventory in advance, including our king mattress and the weight of our adjustable base. We specifically asked whether additional movers would be necessary and were assured that two movers would be more than sufficient.

These guys do fine with regular moves. If you’re moving a piano, BEWARE. They will claim they are piano movers. Within 20 minutes of touching your piano, you’ll find out they aren’t. They had to make TWO attempts and both failed. They did not have the proper equipment to move the piano, they hired inexperienced men, they didn’t know how to move the legs off a grand piano and used the bottom of a drill gun instead of a rubber mallet, they’re completely unprofessional when called out for their lack of experience and…

10/1: Updated based on their review. DO NOT USE THEM I am updating my comment to make it clear that this business is flat-out lying. They did NOT provide any additional truck — because it wasn’t needed after my friend hauled away the leftover items in his van. Yes, they offered another truck, but only if I paid them extra. Their claim about a “half truck move” is a complete fabrication. I never once used that term. I showed them everything on a video call, and it was their own assessment.

Be careful if you use them! They were responsive with questions and estimates at the begining. The ESTIMATE was for 4 hours, and the same story like other reviews: eventhough they used not even 2.5 hours, they tried to pull a hustle to have me pay them for 4 hours because that was the ESTIMATES. I didn't back down and paid for the 3 hours minimum. I gave the 2 movers good tips as they were not at fault. But I know one of them was on the hustle. After the movers left, we tried to watch TV and the pixel was broken.

★☆☆☆☆ – Extremely Disappointed I chose Amplified Moving because their estimate was significantly lower than every other company I contacted. Before booking, I sent Patrick detailed videos of everything that needed to be moved, along with both the pickup and delivery addresses, so there would be no surprises and the estimate could be as accurate as possible. Based on those videos, I was told that two trucks would fit everything. That turned out to be completely inaccurate.
