I have moved several times and I really question how there are so many positive reviews. From the start I had an initial call where compared to other moving companies it was a nickel and dime situation. Everything was "extra" including the COI and flights of stairs, their travel fee is higher than others. My gut said not to go with them but all the others were booked. Dimitri was rude and didn't even introduce himself when he entered our apartment.
During my move, I was extorted by the crew (2 males). They cornered me out of everyone's ears and told me that they wanted to know how much tip I was going to pay them before they considered moving certain items. Specifically, they said they wouldn't move anything that's not in a box but if I would pay them good money they'd slip it in without their manager knowing.
I hired NJ Local Moving for my move on January 11th 2021. My experience with them was shocking. I am a small business-owner myself and it is an exception that i write a less than an excellent review for any business. And purposely, I let …

I had a great experience with New Jersey Local Moving Company. The entire team was professional, punctual, careful, and very well organized. These guys are the best of the best! I have hired NJ Local Moving twice now in the past three years. Both times, they were incredibly professional and careful with our stuff. We have a lot of fragile items; they handled them all with care, packing their truck expertly such that nothing got damaged. The entire process was very smooth.
