I do NOT recommend them for long distance moving! I did everything they asked and they wayyyyy underquoted me and when the movers came they charged me an additional $2500. Then it took them 2 weeks to arrive when I was originally told 3-5 days. When I called after a week they told me the truck broke down…how come no one notified us or anyone else they still hadn’t delivered to yet that they were delayed due to this? That’s unprofessional.
I am giving them a 1 star because 0 was not an option. I am prior military and have moved over 18 times. When I hired "Top Rated" Moving company, it was my first move out of the military....and let me say the company is EVERYTHING BUT top rated. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. I will summarize: 1.) Estimate was about half what I was charged for. 2.) The delivery crew attempt to steal some of my items as evident with their names written on it.
Total Scam – Bait-and-Switch Mafia Operation This company is a complete scam. They lure you in with a video survey, give you a $5,000 estimate, and demand a $2,000 advance. Come moving day, they show up, look at the same exact stuff, and suddenly say, “Oh, it’s bigger than we thought—now it’s going to be $10,000.” You’re stuck. No way out. They know it. The sales guy who sweet-talked you earlier? Gone. Vanished. Ghosted.
DO NOT USE !! I had an expensive painting come up missing and major damage to my dining room set. The person who delivered my belongings told me he was going to go back to where they store the items pending delivery and search for the art work and if it wasn’t there he was going to contact the people along the delivery route to see if it was delivered to the wrong location. He was keeping in contact via text messaging, which I have copies of. The reason it was denied ? No R&E/NDS.
The gentlemen that initially packed the truck did a great job. After that where it went and how it was treated, God only knows, but several valuable, irreplaceable items arrived.here broken. I did sign an agreement that said it was six cents a pound for any breakage, but no one even came to see what was broken or how much they weighed. It is just a guess. My items were brought here the end of September and my paperwork for a claim was finished by the end of January and I have still yet to receive a check.
What a disappointment!! We were told one price but when they arrived it was a different price, and different size truck. I told them I wanted to bubble wrap my 60 inch TV and I was told it'll be OK they will wrap it, what a joke! They broke it and my air fryer. Lost one of my totes and the rest of the totes were smashed up. The driver was arguing with my husband about the price after we were told one price. Get the manager on the phone and then they changed their toon too.
Biggest scam company in the business. Quoted and signed for a set price. When they came to load, the driver upped the price by $3K. Office was no help. DORIS was the most obnoxious person ever. Sales rep DANIEL was the biggest liar I've ever dealt with. This crappy company "lost" over $4k of my stuff. Claimed no responsibility. Even though the price they matched, included FULL replacement value. Avoid this company at ALL costs.
This company is a scam!! Do notusergis company Orton are going to regret ot. It. They give you price, collect your deposit and in the day of moving they will tell you that your furniture are more than 5 cubic feet so you gotta pay 2, 000 moreover you loose your money. They don't tell you these things. Dan/Daniel is the one that lied to me and when I tried to callgim he dodge the calla. This is a scamming company

Everything was packed and wrapped for safety. I had a few really large items and live on the second floor with no elevator - these guys were amazing! Positive attitudes and non stop moving plus incredible Tetris skills getting my furniture into the unit. I would most definitely recommend Top Rated Moving Solution to anyone. Thanks for making this so easy guys.
