June 2023 I contracted Angel Hands to move us from North Louisiana to South Louisiana. I really felt confident speaking with Cindy the co-owner. Cindy and her husband Obie are very personal and Godly people. I felt assured they would do a wonderful smooth move for us as it’s stressful enough. She came to the house for a quote and assessed what it would cost to box, pack & load. I had boxed a lot, but she went through the house , covering all rooms, attic from top to bottom/even all pictures etc to give quote.
I called angle hands to move me and my wife and it started out as a good move until I caught one of the movers going through our belongings and reboxing things that didn't need reboxing. The same employee whispered to me and my wife that if we want to leave a tip then don't give it to the owner cause he keeps the tips. Then after we finally got settled in we noticed that they had stolen three pairs of sunglasses valued at 850.00 as well as a social security card.
I do not recommend this company they arrived 40 minutes late they called and expressed their truck had a flat and claimed they could not locate my apartment despite the address being given to them a head of time. At the end of the move they asked for an extra fee of 180.00 dollars to avoid confrontation we paid it. But stay away!
Do not use them very unprofessionally the driver is old and very rude that’s why I don’t support so called black owned businesses never again
I contacted Angel Hands Moving on Tuesday to arrange pickup of several Facebook Marketplace purchases from multiple sellers for delivery to my new home on Friday. The items included a washer and dryer, two beds, and a bedroom set. During my initial call, I was asked to text all of the pickup and delivery information, which I did that same evening. I was also told there would be an hourly rate and that Friday appeared to be open.
Back in 2019 contacted the company. They moved me out a storage unit to another storage until the price was fair and excellent good experience aspect they guys that just push some of my fragile items into the storage but the lady Cindy called them Back to correct the error. I really noted that I would contact them again for any future moves .
I scheduled an appt for Monday morning with owner, Cindy about 2 weeks ago for 8-1-25 @8 am. There was noone here at 8, so I texted Cindy and she was in bed and stated she didn't have our booking. I sent her the confirmation text that she sent plus our information. She then said they were still open to do the job but they had to get supplies and would come, it was 10:30 when they arrived and didn't start right away because there was an issue with them not having wardrobe boxes which we had to pay separately for…
Attempted to book this company for an afternoon move (2:30pm) and was told, “Book someone else because the guys don’t want to move you at this time of day.” They were open for this day but didn’t want to move in the afternoon and would only move starting at 9am. I understand summer heat is undesirable but that is part of the job… I needed the morning to let paint dry before moving in and they did not wish to work with me to accommodate my situation.
Brian - We are sincerely sorry you had a bad experience. We are in the middle of summer move high season and we don't have a lot of schedule flexibility. It is also hard to find new staff and we are working our current, experienced, staff to full capacity. Our apologies and Best Wishes to you. AHM

All I can say is WOW!! Angel hands made this experience so much better than I could’ve ever imagined. They told us they would treat our stuff like it was their own and they weren’t lying. Not to mention they were VERY quick and efficient (while still being careful). The staff was incredibly professional and very pleasant to be around. We were all cracking jokes and this typically unpleasant experience was actually fun. I just can’t say enough good things.
Wonderful company. Wonderful management and employees. Great at communication. Great job in packing, loading, transporting and unloading. They took care of my father-in-law. Packed and moved his very large collection in one day for a great price. They came to his house ahead of time to get an idea of what was needed. It went so smoothly.
I had a friend recommend them to me and it was the best choice . They showed up promptly at the agreed time, and started work quickly and efficiently they took care of my items making sure they were wrapped . They had time left and assembled my bed for me. Which was so helpful. I will be using them again.
This was the second time I’ve hired Angel Hands Movers In Shreveport, La to move me. The first was across from state lines. My recent move was across town & again Angel Hands did a very good job. Across town moves sound simple, but mine wasn’t. I’m a collector and I moved from a larger house to a smaller one, so there was a lot to sort and transfer. I’m happy to report Angel Hands Movers crew handled my collections carefully and showed a positive attitude all day.
