Awful.... .just awful .... Charged more than quoted. Scott was terribly rude.....They were Late too! I could not be more upset. *EDIT RESPONSE TO SCOTT* You "helped" my mother move. I wouldn't be surprised at if you don't remember who she was because I'm sure you treat most clients this way. No matter how many fake 5 star reviews you pay for! I find it hard to believe we are the only victims of your predatory business practices.
Sorry? You have never used our services..🤔 …
I would give less than one star if I could. This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. It was confirmend to have the movers at my home at 8am, however no one showed up until 9 oclock, I called, left messages with no reply. When …
I’m sorry things didn’t work out, we had just moved you in there. I’m not sure why you thought it would be less to move you out again 🤔 …
Horrible experience. Moving company took all day to arrive at the location. Damaged items costing us over $1000 to repair which they refuse to compensate us for. Movers were rude and disrespectful after damaging our possessions and owner …
We have never done anything for you. This review has been posted fraudulently. I have no idea who you are 🤔 …
They arrived at least 5 min late..whatever... my initial phone call when I booked was pleasant. They quoted me $140 cash for an hour. There wasn't much stuff at all. They finished a 5 min after the hour was up. …
Sorry for the misunderstanding, the guys commute to the office, the clock starts when the truck leaves the office. It is not realistic to expect 2 men to move an apartment in 1 hour. However, if you eat a meal in a restaurant, you can’t expect to walk away and not pay for it....
Absolutely worst moving experience ever. The only good thing I could say is that after I called the police they didn't continue the high-speed chase. They didn't want to deliver the stuff and they asked me to pay the money before they started unloading the truck. I was not about to pay while they still had stuff locked on their truck. I told them, start unloading and I will give the money. I had the money in my hand.
Will never use barrie moving again they cost around 400 hidden charges, after complete the job , which are not acceptable, beware from this fraud moving company

In their own words
The team that moved our piano was on time, courteous, careful, efficient, and extremely professional. I would highly recommend them.
We recently had an incredible experience with this piano moving company. I called them last minute, and to my surprise, they came the same day—driving all the way from Barrie to Alliston to help us out. Originally quoted $550 (a fair price for such a big job), we explained we couldn’t afford that much. The owner, who was so kind over the phone, lowered it to $300 because he has a soft spot for young families who want a piano and hates to see beautiful instruments go to the landfill.
Scott and his team were so flexible to work with after a stressful move. They were responsive, professional and friendly throughout the experience. I can’t believe how efficient 2 men worked to ensure our items were moved safely. I highly recommend Barrie Specialized Moving!!!
We just moved a full load of furniture into a new cottage and this team provided the best service I’ve ever had for movers. They showed up on time, were friendly, took good care of our things and worked their tails off from morning to night. I have had so many movers who bang walls, damage furniture, and complain about how heavy or hot it is. None of that from Randy and Jeff. We had some very heavy furniture going down some tricky spots and they managed all of it with a smile.
