The sales associate did not disclose what would or would not be covered under the triple tax discount and encouraged to buy more services that would get to the triple tax not disclosing that those services would be covered under the triple tax discount. When asked to show how they were getting the numbers it took several back and forth between myself and the store manager to get somewhere in the ballpark of what I expected to pay.

We tried out a bed there, and it was extremely firm. I liked it and I was immediately sold. I was expecting the same bed, same firmness to be shipped to my apartment. To my surprise...I absolutely did not get that. The bed creaked, and took within a couple days for that firmness to give way that felt nothing like the one the salesman said we bought and tried out. This place does a good job at selling "appearances". Oh well.

I had gone to a number of furniture places including Boston Interiors cuz I couldn't find what I liked at the other stores and I knew Boston interiors offers different fabrics and colors for most of their living room furniture The other discount places did not.... Bernie and phyl's was the last place I went and I could not believe they have the same couch as Boston interiors for a lot less money and they also offer different fabrics and colors for a lot less.

This is the second sofa purchase. We always find the furniture to be well made. Our salesman, Christopher Ortiz, was very knowledgeable and kind. Not pushy like other salesmen. Bernie and Phil’ s is my furniture store.
