In their own words
We asked for 6 men. Not all of them worked. Some just walked around the house. My dining room table was broken and my refrigerator door was scratched and dented. They replaced the door with a compatible which doesn’t close tightly and now I’m having to defrost my freezer. Many items ended up with small scratches or dents. Our tv swivel was never found and some legs to a shelving unit were never found. An electric keyboard was charged as a piano and we were charged $800 to move it ( it didn’t cost that much new).
Worst experience ever. The crew showed up an hour late. Said the job couldn’t be done in two hours. Called rescheduled. No call no show. Would not answer the phone nor return calls. Received a text message saying my appointment was canceled …
In the spring of 2017 we hired Sanders Moving Company in Anderson, SC to pack our entire house and place all items in climate controlled storage units. We paid several thousand dollars to have this done. We were in Alaska and we unable to be in SC for the move. We then paid monthly fees totaling around $7000 for our items to remain in climate controlled storage. Everything went smoothly.
Very unhappy with this experience with Sanders Moving. While they were accomodating at the beginning, we were to have our belongings packed on a Friday and moved on the following Monday. We specifically asked that the bedding not be packed, as we needed to sleep at our home two more nights, and they packed it anyway.
Very unprofessional company. Their movers damaged our tiles on the stairs at the front door while moving a piano. I called multiple times for months to have the problem resolved and kept getting "the run around." I never received a phone call to take care of the situation. We hired movers because the company SHOULD BE insured for when accidents like this happen. You expect a company to fix their wrong but Sanders had no desire to make the situation right.
If I could give these people a double zero I would. They wrecked a lot of our furniture and other family belongings. We have permanent water stains on our mattresses and box springs. They could not figure out how to move a couch out of a …

Second time in 8 months Sanders helped me move items to storage and my new place…then move things again once renovations were complete. Chris and Israel showed up on time, were patient as I sorted through items on what goes to my place and what goes to a new storage location. I decided to swap out some items once in my home, and they were gracious in loading them for storage. They helped me decide the best placement of my sectional and made sure everything was re-assembled (shelves, etc.).
The moving crew did an amazing job and were courteous. They worked hard to make sure everything was handled carefully.

These guys came through! Our original mover help was unable to do the job because miscommunication and them being out of state! I was referred to Sanders Moving by the storage facility and I threw it out there thinking it’s last minute and I would understand if they couldn’t make it. Caleb moved stuff around (no pun intended) and was able to send two guys to my location and help me finish unloading my storage pods! They knocked it out in a couple of hours which was reasonable.

We used Sanders moving company for the second time in Eight years and they are just as great today as they were 8 years ago. On both occasions we had a 2 man crew come and unload a moving trailer. Both times we were sent kind and hard working young men. They unload our trailer in a very timely manner and because we didn’t meet our minimum time requirements they assembled some of our furniture, which saved us time and effort.
