In their own words
Arrived late, tried to overcharge us and damaged our property. Paid them more for their own travel time and breaks than for the actual move. I would NOT recommend them to anyone!
The employees ripped us off and the owners tried to covered it up until the police got involved. The owner was supposed to help us replace over $6000 worth of money and items taken. Absolutely ridiculous. The truck they used had a hole at the top, they backed their truck into my pod and the workers were gone for three hours on "lunch" while they went through my items. I've never felt so violated.
Duane hires day laborers to work while he sleeps in the truck . He does not manage them at all. He is rude and unprofessional. The crew was very inefficient and cost me 3x as much as other moves for the same size place . I ended up doing more work and paying 3 times as much as I have for same size moves in the past . I have moved many times and this was the WORST experience by far. DO NOT USE this company .
Hired 3 movers and a truck they were an hour late getting to the property. Spent more time wrapping things up then actually moving. The owner spent 20 minutes in the bathroom at each location. He also was on his phone almost every time I saw him. All movers took a 30 minute break which we were charged for. Charged for drive time there and back. Tried to over charge me for drive time. Said they were 20 minutes from us when in reality they were 45 and tried to charge for 1.5 hours each way.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are not even worth 1 star. They are the worst at packing your belongings and loading into PODS. Most of our furniture, frames, TVs, lamps, gym equipment were damaged/bent/scratched due to them not properly wrapping the items and loading into the storage containers. They put boxes that were marked fragile on the very bottom of the stack. Our treadmill monitor, TV, Elliptical, Pelotons, reformer, rowing machine?
Unprofessional, and not reliable at all. Texted me setting up an appointment, we agreed to appointment and at the end movers don't show. Unreliable. Poor service. They should be honest to customers instead of keeping them waiting for movers to arrive.
They broke multiple pieces of furniture. They packed food in the same box with house hold cleaners. Didn't come prepared to pack a four bedroom home. Had to leave to get more supplies. I paid for three guys and a truck. The third guy …
Horrible, dishonest owner (Duane Fagan). Initial quote was $225/hr. Total in the end was more than double! Although bed was taken apart prior to movers showing up, they wasted time …

Born Moving is an AWESOME moving company! They have great customer service and the owner is honest and very friendly! He made my moving day so easy, they showed up on time and worked efficiently and made sure to be careful with all my boxes and belongings. I've worked with other moving companies in the past and have never had an experience like I've had with Born Moving. The owner went above and beyond to help me.
Born Moving was a great choice in helping me move. This is the first time I actually hired out someone to help me move. As a family we usually just spent our entire weekend moving and unpacking. This time I decided to get someone to help. Born Moving was the best in helping smooth our transition from one home to the other. They were so good in fact that I recommended them to my significant other who used them to move her two months after my recommendation!! Professional! On-time! Courteous! Responsive!
Born Moving helped us move four office rooms, furniture, copier, and a large amount of boxes across town. Everything was meticulously packed with pads, plastic wrap and tape. All movers were friendly, followed instructions and worked hard for 14 hours with a short break for lunch. Very pleased and highly recommend.
BM's team was respectful & responsive to all special requests. And all things that could possible break or get scratched were wrapped in moving blankets and carefully moved. That process took longer than expected but all things got moved successfully without an accident.
