Will never work with this company again. They are very good at taking your money 60% down payment to deliver your item and then playing cat and mouse game anytime you call. Every time you call to check on your delivery there is a holiday and no one is in the office, so you can never get a hold of anyone. I end up hiring another company to pick up my item and have it delivered to me because Roy Moving Inc was horrible to work with. Never got my refund back from them. Definitely a scam.
I’m truly sorry to hear about your frustrating experience, Alicja. It sounds like we dropped the ball in several areas—timely communication and handling of your delivery, in particular—and that’s not how we aim to do business.
I hired Roy's Moving Co. to ship many antiques across the country. They were very helpful at the beginning as they wanted the business. However, once the items reached the west coast things went south. Only a truck driver showed up in an 18 wheeler that was too big for my brother's driveway. My brother had to load everything onto his truck and then bring all the items in by himself after we had been told people would bring everything into the house.
This was for a cross-country move, VT to OR. Our problem started after furniture was loaded onto a rented Penske truck September 18, 2025. After completely loading the truck, the driver presented me with a bill of lading on which the amount given was changed at last minute by the company and I would not sign it, so the driver called his manager Steve. He then put me on the phone with Steve, and we went round and round on actual cubic ft. We finally agreed to a set amount on the Bill of lading.
