Brazos Raleigh Movers

Two pieces of furniture were damaged during the move. We contacted Jon who said he will come to assess the damage and even scheduled a day. He never showed up and stopped replying to calls once the check cleared. Very unprofessional behavior.

We used Brazos for moving from Knightdale to Cary in April. 3 power cords were missing. After repeated calling one was replaced saying it was found in their tool box. After this long wait, they are yet to replace 2 others. I will change my 2 to 5 once they are replaced.

My move in 2022 was like something from a nightmare; all because we made the poor choice to use this company. Jon fooled us into thinking he was a trustworthy guy and we could trust his crew with not only moving all of our belongings, but packing them as well. When the guys showed up, I immediately began to panic as they moved at such a fast speed I couldn’t believe they were packing things correctly. We were assured they were just “professionals that do this for a living”.

Hired them for a move and was happy with my phone call about what I needed for the move. Because this was my first time moving alone, I was unsure of how the process should go. I am an over preparer so I had friends and family lined up to assist on the day as well! My friends showed up and moved the small things out and even prepped the remaining boxes and furniture for the movers. The movers were an hour and a half late.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I move a every 2 years and have NEVER recieved service this poor. They damaged equipment and would not let me use my trusted, reputable companies to fix. Instead, I was cornered to accept sub-par service and they refused to be held accountable. For $10k worth of equipment and $3k worth of damage, they did ~$800 worth of fixing and left 1/4 of the work incomplete. I should have used my trusted movers, Athens Moving.

Chadd, Darione, Mondo and DJ. were professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. They worked well with each other. However, BEWARE, if something is damaged, the responsiveness is extremely POOR! My Samsung washer was working properly prior to my move. It's now inoperable. My persistence in obtaining a claim form or having it repaired has resulted in unanswered calls, unanswered texted messages, untruths about getting back with me and MOST importantly, a washer which NO longer works.

My hardwood floors were damaged, multiple pieces of furniture were destroyed or broken (7months later in STILL waiting for my side table to be fixed), multiple areas on the walls AND ceiling with dents that required sparkling, items that were labeled were not put in the correct rooms, items were plopped in the center of floor in all rooms (not put to the side), AND my refund which was promised to me was never received.
