I own several rental properties. Yesterday one of my tenants hired this company for moving. When they parked their truck to unload her stuff, they puled right to the sidewalk, that was just fixed a week ago. Concerned neighbors asked to move the truck off the sidewalk because it will damage it. Guys was really rude about it, and didn't want to cooperate at all. 3 people came to them and the response was the same "We are not moving out truck anywhere" - in extremely rude way!
Highly unprofessional! Never followed up after saying they will get back with a quote in the next few hours. After many calls from my side the next day, they called me and said they’ll call back in a minute and just disappeared!
These people talk about a family business. They have a website collecting details for a quote but they don't even have common courtesy to reply or call back. When people lack courtesy, who will want to deal with them?. And guess what, they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays while most moving is done on those days. Be aware of these things people. Many will write that they had a good experience which might be true. But when people don't wrote or call back, just forget them.
We had Joy come out and do an in-home estimate two weeks ago and she told us we would get the quote that day. Two weeks later, two phone calls later - no quote, no customer service, no interest in having them move us if this is how they treat potential customers. The also were not listed on the Utilities Commission movers list????
We needed a quote for a move, and contacted Joyful movers to come out to give us an estimate. After scheduling an appointment for the estimate, the date and time came and went without notice from Joyful. My assistant called them back to …

In their own words
We had Joyful Movers come help us unload two 26' super sized U-Hual trucks. When we packed one of the trucks - it took us over 20 hours and we then had to drive to our new state. Needless to say - we were exhausted! We wanted to hire someone to help us unload the truck and that's where we found Joyful Moving. Four gentlemen came to our home and unloaded it all quickly and carefully. They were very professional and respectful - wouldn't even let me lift a finger!
Joy and her team were a pleasure to work with. She was very helpful in planning the details. Her crew was on time and hardworking. They were very friendly and willing to do whatever was needed. This was a local move from a third floor apartment to a townhome. So, they definitely got their steps in! I would highly recommend them for your move. Great experience. And, they play great music!
My move with Joy went off without a hitch. She kept me informed during the process and he team was awesome. Definitely recommend for a move of any size.

They showed up on time, got things moved quickly, were professional, and it was the most reasonably priced mover I could find (and I looked a lot). They get good reviews for a reason. We're actually about to use them again this week and we had friends use them a couple of weeks ago after we referred them. We're fans!
