Worst experience with moving. My family moved across country. We thought they did well packing but we didn't watch close. Our items had to go into storage because our house was not ready. When we scheduled delivery, they didn't show. I missed 2 days of work waiting on them. They said they had a driver shortage. Gary said he would compensate me 400.00 to get hotel and take wife out. That never showed up.
Their movers stuck my radiator and broke a pipe! They caused a huge leak on the weekend before I was to close on the sale of my house incurring $2,000 in costs for off-hours plumbing. The worst part? Despite their head mover admitting he saw one of the movers hit it, they're denying responsibility!. Scum bags! Avoid at all costs!!! Response: there was no investigation. You did not speak to me, the plumber, or the third party movers your driver accused of hitting it. More lies.
Mr. McPadden, we regret that the radiator issue affected your experience. This matter was thoroughly reviewed with the relocation company, and it was determined the leak resulted from a pre-existing condition involving corroded piping in a wall joint, not from transit-related activity.
I am only writing this review now, almost two years after my move from Dallas, TX to Portland, OR. Today was the final straw and I had to write a review of my terrible experience with this company. Full disclosure, my company paid for the move, but they still should have received a large refund based on the extremely poor performance. The last straw was when I was looking for the hardware to re-attach my refrigerator handles.

If I could give 0 stars I would. But since the lowest is 1 star I’ll give that because the people who packed my stuff were nice. They had my stuff for 3 weeks before we had to have the ceo of the company calls us because they weren’t delivering our items. The people that dropped our stuff off were also supposed to unpack they didn’t they just threw our stuff inside our house and hurried us up to leave. They lost the top of our dining room table and several boxes.

We're still midstream, so there's a possibility I'll edit this or change it. We've paid Budd > 90% of their price. We moved (corporate relocating) into company provided housing while we found and bought a home; Budd put our belongings into storage. The day we closed, we asked them to deliver three weeks out. Their word back in April was that when we had a place this summer, they'd deliver in a couple weeks. We gave them three weeks.

Just so bad. They were constantly late or early (well outside of scheduled windows). They accommodated almost nothing. We had an extra stop literally 2 blocks from the original pickup, they wanted an extra $2k just to go the extra 2 blocks. They broke our sons playset and couldn't even cover the 300$ for repair / to get a new one. You communication was difficult and slow. Do NOT A GO with this company. It's a huge pain and you'll regret it.

I would never use this company again or recommend them. There salesman AKA worthless will face time you 2 times give you so line about averages and it’s 1500lbs per room and just blow smoke and because they charge by weight there estimates …

I recently had to relocate to a new state for work. Needless to say we were very nervous about using a moving company for the first time. Especially for a cross country move. We had some unexpected challenges when our original driver had a family emergency, but Michael Angelo and his crew stepped in and truly went above and beyond. We had an excellent experience with Budd Van Lines from beginning to end. Alan was our first point of contact and handled the initial walkthrough of our home, assessment and estimate with professionalism and care. He gave us confidence from the outset that the move would be thoughtfully planned and well managed. Susan, our move coordinator, was equally wonderful. Michael Angelo and his crew were amazing! Michael was prompt, professional and a joy to work with. They arrived on time each day and handled the pack of all our belongings with great care. We appreciated his flexibility with packing even when we forgot a few things and had to find them in already packed boxes. His delivery was extremely quick which was so appreciated with 2 small children. We loved working with Michael and would recommend him to anyone for their moves!

We used Budd Van Lines for our move to Orlando and it was the best experience I could have ever hoped for! Michael and his crew were truly experts of their craft and know how to take care of the customer. Michael took charge of the project and his team with an incredible show of skill and integrity. Our entire house packed with absolute care and it was done quick! The next day our stuff was moved into the truck with supreme efficiency like a well oiled machine.
