I wish I could give them zero stars . We scheduled a junk removal and then a move the following week . The Thursday they never showed up and waited until late in the day to tell us they were to busy and will come Friday . So Friday comes and they gave us a time frame of them showing up mid day . They did not show until 5 at night to do the junk removal of a 3 story house .

They were a no-show for my estimate appointment. I scheduled this 2 weeks ago, after my estate sale which is what was suggested to me. I received calls and txt to confirm the appointment. I confirmed the appointment via the txt that was sent; and received an email confirmation of the appointment. Thirty minutes into when they were supposed to show up, I received a phone call saying the appointment was cancelled because I did not confirm.
I used College Hunks from Hillsborough to move last month. The 3 guys that were sent to move me did a great job but unfortunately cracked the screen of my 32 inch Panasonic TV. They took down some info about my TV and told me not to worry, the company will replace it. Their intentions were good but the owners intentions were not. They replaced my Tv with a cheap Scepter TV which had the poorest reviews ever. I called the owner Nancy who told me if I didn’t like it she would give me $7.98 for its value!!!

I was scheduled for a in person moving estimate between 2:30-4:30 which I had to move my schedule around for but was expected. That morning I received a phone call which I could not answer because of work but the caller left a voicemail asking if I’d prefer to do the estimate over the phone. I returned the phone call around 1 and left a message. No phone call from that point! The 2:30-4:30 window came and went with no call / no show.

The initial person I spoke with on the phone said they pack items in boxes, however, the estimator who came to my house said they would only maybe pack some clothes, no other items. And that if they did pack glass, they would not wrap it and it would break as soon as they moved the box. He said they have insurance but it would not cover particle board furniture. A lot of furniture in the world is particle board furniture, so they must be ok with limiting their potential customer base.

Anthony, Collin, and Sedrick were absolutely phenomenal to work with. Not only did College Hunks send out a truck same day, they also sent the best crew with them. The guys cleaned out huge pieces of furniture in record time, and managed to fit a lot more in the dumpster than we had anticipated. They were thoughtful with how they placed the items in the truck, meaning that they weren’t just taking up space to charge us for a full load.

College hunks did a great job taking my china cabinet and loveseat. They were polite, on time and very careful not to damage my wood floors. Definitely would recommend them!

Start to finish we had a great experience. Laura was super great to schedule and work with. Our movers Tommy and Will were awesome. Fast, efficient and funny. They worked their butts off moving me from NJ to PA, definitely appreciate their hard work. While I hope to not be moving anytime soon in future if I do need to, I would definitely go with College HUNKS again
After our movers go through their moving training they are required to perform stand up comedy that way we can make clients laugh on a stressful moving day. Glad it worked out well on this one!
Wish I could give 10/5 stars. I called on Tuesday to schedule junk removal and labor for that Thursday. They were available. They helped me estimate the size truck that would be needed for my items over the phone. Something came up and I needed to reschedule the appointment. It was so easy to reschedule online. The guys were super friendly and arrived much earlier than the arrival window so we were able to get the job done earlier than expected.
We are always happy with 5 star reviews for our junk removal and donation but 10 stars makes us even happier! Thank you for choosing College Hunks Hauling Junk in Hillsborough
