In their own words
Moved from Sacramento to Washington state. Almost all of the wood furniture had some form of damage. Also had two broken lamps and lots of missing dishes. They will not cover the replacement cost unless you have receipts. Most of the dishes were wedding gifts. The approx. damage estimate exceeds $3,000.00. They reimbursed us for $250.00. Worst moving experience EVER!
Hi Ken, thank you for providing us with your feedback. We moved you on June 28, 2018 and we resolved your claim in August 2018. Your claim form only lists 3 items, 2 lamps and a nightstand for a total of $775. The nightstand you claimed had preexisting damages prior to move day, so that was denied.
Justin is rude. They are not honest and they are carless with your belongings. Over charge and do not hold up to theit end of the agreements. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy

I had reserved for them to come move my house from California to Arizona. I was expecting a slight change in the cost but when they arrived they over doubled my quote. On top of that the original time they were suppose to arrive was 11am - 3pm. Then it got pushed from 4-6. After 6 when I still hadn’t heard anything I finally called and they said it now wouldn’t be until 8 pm! Then when they doubled the cost I told them I couldn’t afford the new cost and would have to use someone else.

If only negative stars were possible. This is the worst company ever. They are either incompetent or swindlers. Do not use them. They screwed up my estimate, refused to take any responsibility so I ended up paying more than double. They’re info/stories continued to change making it impossible to know what to believe or know what the right thing was to do. They are not to be trusted.

Your representative, Janet, was amazing in the detail she provided as to every item that may be moved. She was so friendly and patient as we revised the list numerous times. She provided excellent packing tips and enabled us to get all the supplies at a great price. She was a great representative of the company, while taking superior care of us as her client. The actual moving crew, lead by Hector, was also top notch, careful, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Our possessions were in the best of hands.

After retiring, we planned a move the the California central coast. A good neighbor suggested we contact Dave Higdon at California Moving Systems (CMS) for a consult. CMS had moved their family several times over the years and gave us a glowing review. Moving at anytime is not for the faint of heart, we were doing it after more than 20 years in the Sacramento area. Easily one of life's major stresses. Mr. Higdon arrived at our home for a walk through, shortly, his calm and competent manner begin to put us at ease.

These folks did a packout for federal travel orders for me, and (for reasons that had nothing to do with them) it had to be done IMMEDIATELY after Christmas. Fellow that did the pre-packout survey was friendly, professional, answered questions well, and made himself available for any follow-up questions I had. He was clearly experienced and knew his stuff well. The folks that did the actual packout and moving were also a group who were friendly, efficient, professional, and considerate!

Recently we moved to Virginia from California a big undertaking for us after 24 years in the same house. We chose California Moving Systems(Atlas) and we are so glad we did. Allan Brown came to our home and did a very detailed evaluation of our needs. We were moving our things to 3 households as we were downsizing, 1to Pennsylvania and 2 to Virginia. We also had items that needed special crating on the day of the move the packers were very experienced and the packed everything carefully and securely.
