DO NOT USE CENTENNIAL MOVING FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1) They will quote you LOW and charge you HIGH. In my case $800 dollar quote and $1800 bill after they have added MANY unexpected fees. 2) They will "lose" and damage your belongings. In my case I suspect they stole my toolbox knowing full well that the value of the tools was high and they could get away with paying me near nothing in insurance. 3) They will not honor their insurance policies.

Up front, Centennial seemed to be an organized and reliable moving company. They picked up my items in Calgary, AB on-time, and moved very efficiently. Everything was loaded in the truck within a couple hours. Pick up occurred in Calgary on July 29. What's extremely disappointing is their follow through on delivery. It is currently August 25 and there doesn't seem to be any firm timeline on when I can expect my possessions to arrive in Windsor, ON.

We used Centennial Moving for a cross-province move earlier this month based on the excellent review they have. What a disappointment! The original quote was very reasonable, so we sent an itemized list, with pictures, to ensure that these 'professionals' had all the details they needed to apply their expertise and provide a quote as accurate as possible . They revised the quote, adding $100 based on the list and pictures, which was fine.

I think the Centennial representatives I dealt with were actually professional and zealous. The problem is with the subcontractors they use. On pick up day in Montreal (I moved to Vancouver) only one mover showed up. Thankfully, he was a pretty strong and skilled guy, so he managed, but no one should be loading a couch onto a truck by himself. On the other end, when I unpacked, I realized that my filing cabinet had been warped, probably from sitting too long on its side.

Tried to book a move with Centennial Moving from Toronto -> Vancouver and communication was really frustrating. My partner initially called and was told there was no availability for the month of November. However, the moving coordinator I spoke with told me there was availability for November and gave me several dates to choose from. Throughout the last week of October, I was corresponding with the moving coordinator mainly via email.

I booked the centinneal moving company to move my living room furniture 2 months in advance for movers to be at my place at 7 pm on 30th june ,they arrived at 9.15pm as they had to dissemble the sofa and dining table(list already provided to them) they made excuses about weight and things to be moved. They could have cleared any confusion by calling me and confirmed however they decided not to move as they did not have enough time as elevator was only available till 10pm they were informed about their late arrival…

Several reasons why the experience was bad. 1) During the quote process they raised the price per pound after I accepted their quote and said they couldn't do it at their original quote that they sent to me in writing . This was a cross country move and I was traveling on business at the time and our move was about to happen so I had no choice and accepted it. 2) 5 days before our move we got an email stating that the mover was coming the next day and we had no choice but to accept the last minute change.

Move from Toronto to Vancouver. - I paid extra 1k for packing service, but the packing was not done very professionally (for which I do NOT blame the crew because they were overworked and exausted). The packing crew IS the moving crew (3 people in total) and they ended up working from 9am to 9pm on the moving day! - THE BIGGEST problem I have with the moving company is that they sent insufficient crew members everytime!

I have used Centennial Moving several times, and they have been absolutely amazing on every occasion. They handled my move from Vancouver to Toronto, and then my move back to Vancouver. Their service was so exceptional that when I returned, I wasn’t even present at the house—they managed all the packing themselves and delivered everything to me perfectly organized. In a nutshell, Centennial Movers took 100% of the stress of moving away from me. Every single person in this business is conscientious and really made me feel like they cared about being of service to me. These guys really know furniture. We left the bulk of the furniture in the old house for staging purposes. After that house sold, they were back to pack & move the rest of the stuff. The way they wrap every single piece of furniture to ensure protection, is unbelievable. They wrap everything in blankets.

We moved from Scarborough up to Timmins. It was a major undertaking for us and Gary at Centennial made sure everything was perfect. It started with our in house estimate. The representative showed up on time and was fully prepared. We received a complete and detailed estimate. And it was accurate! Then, they showed us exactly how to do our part in packing and to prepare . On moving day our driver Phillip showed up on time and did an outstanding job of packing the truck.
