They were more expensive than other companies we checked, but a friend recommended them so we decided to use them too. The move went well, (250 miles away) but when the cable company came to hook up our 65" Sony OLED TV the next day, it wouldn't turn on. That's when I noticed the corner of the screen was shattered. When I called Changing Places, they assured me they would file a claim and take care of the problem. A few days later I got a call from "Don", saying he found a 65" TV for $899.
Although we strive to be the best, we're very sorry we didn't get your job done without a mishap. It does not happen often, but when there is any damage on a move, we make it a practice to attend to the issue quickly and amicably. Mr. Mank, we apologize for not meeting those standards.
They were rude from the start. Overpriced. Bad at returning calls. Bad customer service. I HAD TO PHYSICALLY HELP THEM move which you are NOT suppose to do. I have RA,broken wrist and sprained knee. …
Never had a mover so unhelpful! Said they would never help me and they never did. Refused to return calls. Refused to finish the job when they forgot exterior furniture. Unable to properly move a piano when two other movers had no problem. Had to spend several hundred extra dollars to hire a piano mover. Changing Places almost broke a valuable antique piano.and when I phoned about the breakage in their boxes I’ve saved for months which they packed and their guys wrote on, they again said they’d call back and…
DECEITFUL! They quoted the job. Came to pick up the items. Realized they didn't send a large enough truck. Told us that they cant move the rest of the items because they didn't have enough room. If we wanted the rest of our stuff moved it would cost us another $300 an hour. We ended up renting a U-Haul and moving it ourselves. These people will rip you off!
