DO NOT USE CLUTTER. Absolutely terrible customer service, and predatory company policies. We just finished up over a year of having our stuff stored with Clutter in their Tracy facility. Upon receiving our delivery at our new apartment, we found that one of our TV’s was missing and another had its screen smashed in transit. With any other moving / storage company you’d expect this to be a straightforward insurance claim to make the situation right for the customer.

If you're considering Clutter for your moving and storage needs, stop right now and look elsewhere. My experience with Clutter was nothing less than an absolute disaster, plagued by deceptive pricing, hidden fees, and outright unethical practices. Deceptive Pricing: I was quoted exactly $2,050 for two months of storage, packing, pickup, and then moving my items from storage to my new home. This was supposed to be an "all in, out the door total price". However, the final bill was close to $7,000!

Absolutely terrible experience with Clutter. After months of clearly communicating that I’m located in Germany, the company still couldn’t coordinate my delivery properly. My appointments were cancelled twice, each time less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery — yet they charge customers $200 for late cancellations. When I booked, I was told over the phone that delivery to Los Angeles would not be a problem.

I can NOT recommend I was excited to use Clutter to store my furniture for 1 year while my husband and I traveled. Unfortunately we had a horrible experience. The movers arrived and wrapped up all our furniture for storage except for a large dresser. They came downstairs and informed us they could not transport or store the item because it was too big. We were moving out of the house the following day so we needed the item to be moved.

We willl never use this company ever again. We booked our move 90 days in advance. They cancelled on the day we were moving out of our apartment without notice. We were aIready waiting for them! Without asking, they single handedly booked us to their "next available appointment", two days after our lease would already end. Not only we had to scramble to find another company and pay 700 dolllars more for an urgent serivce, we had to calll to cancel the service to avoid getting charged!
Broken door, scratched walls, forgotten item on street, they took and then said that they don’t took my camera with accessories which is worth more than $5K. They took the stuff I asked them to not but they forgot they stuff I asked them to take. I drove for like 30 miles to their warehouse to take my stuff back. This is my experience with clutter.
