Worst experience ever. Having moved long distance before unbelievable service. Started by being two days late and they date late the drop off causing my husband and I having to sleep on the floor--no blankets, no pillows. When the movers did arrive, our belongings were so poorly wrapped there were 15 things broken, clothes were dumped in horses. Not one thing was hung up in wardrobe, just all our clothes dumped. Items were not kept together. Cords not kept together.
I used this company because I called the national Mayflower number. All aspects of the packing, storage and transit were subcontracted to different companies, all which had no care in handling my things. It took me over a month to get my things after I called to report a day I could receive my goods and when I finally got them, except for two dish boxes which had minimal damage, all lay other things were jumbled into wardrobe boxes without any packing protection.
Don’t just take my advice, check out Better Business Bureau as many have the same complaints. My experience included significant price increases, scheduling issues, damaged items, and unresponsive customer service. …
I booked their service and they sold me on the experience and expertise. So I gave them a very expensive deposit. (Heads up the money they ask for upfront is VERY HIGH…for a job that’s not done yet.—>red flag #1) …
