They were 2.5 hours late without warning, their attitude was unprofessional (negative reviews), they even ripped my mattress... and some other furniture was damaged. Furthermore, we had to move a piece of furniture ourselves because they …
Terrible experience -> 7.5 hours late with no notice! Our move was scheduled for 8:00 AM. 8:30 AM -> Still no word from the movers, so we decided to call them. It turns out one of their men was injured the day before and they were looking for a solution (I can understand that... but it seems to me that informing the customer would show a MINIMUM of respect). Anyway, he told me his guys would arrive late AM. Late AM, still no one at the apartment. Finally, they said it would be 1:00 PM.
I used their service in 2020 and it was absolutely awful. They were late, used the wrong size truck (and were overloaded, nearly breaking it), the movers weren't up to scratch, I had to pay the entire bill upfront before they even unloaded the truck, and the move went over time. I had to file a complaint with consumer protection to avoid paying the extra charges. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST USING THEM.
I had the opportunity to meet one of your employees. He was parked in front of the parking lot entrance. I asked him if he could back up his truck since he didn't have a car behind it. I explained that he could easily work and let the tenants in. He looked at me with a contemptuous expression, like (I have "moving" written on my truck) and replied, "No, you'll wait a good 15 minutes. Oh no, maybe 20. Oh, and maybe 30." In the end, he blocked the entrance for a good part of the afternoon.
I waited for them two more hours in the morning (was supposed to be there at 8:00am and was late by exactly two hours and 6 minutes). We set a meeting point after dinner (one hour for them to eat) and plus the journey, the meeting is set for 1:30pm, he is there at 4:45pm)... The owner of the moving company gets into a fight (frustrated) with the concierge to finish... Charges me 6 and a half hours of work, $575 even though I waited 5 more hours. 🙄🤦🏻♂️
They arrived late but they warned us, but they don't know how to load a truck. I had a 5 and a half and there wasn't enough space in the truck and no insurance for the TV. In any case, first and last time (I made a trip with a full trailer and caravan). Not good....
So disappointed! The comments above are representative of poor and unprofessional service. I was warned, but I had no choice given their availability. Now I understand, and I do not recommend this company.
