Termites. Dust. Palmettos. Temperature was 86 in March. No temp control. No roof. Ladder not available half the time, yes one per section.No sweeping. Had something spill that stayed there 4 months before someone swept, doubt it was mopped, that space. Al, the manager is pretty rude and sneaky. Only pretends to sleep when prompted. Not to mention that price went up every 3 months. Worst rip off of my life.

Warning!!! Do not put your belongings in storage here. I had plastic containers full of all of my belongings that were stolen out of my unit while renting there. I spoke to the manager and he acted like there was nothing he was going to do about it. Then he charged me for insurance in case my belongings were stolen when I moved in. He didn't even offer to help me with the Insurance. After contacting the Insurance company they refused to pay for my loss. Besides that there Storage units seem to be made of wood.

Unit was on the left bottom level, outside edge. water leaked in and damaged 2 antique clocks. Manager would not settle for damages because I did not purchase insurance. You would think that when you rent a unit it would be water tight. …

Prospects Beware!!! Shady business tactics and very combative personnel!!! I Carried a Unit at this location for over 2 years. Always paid on time with auto draft and never once had a problem when the location was under the management of Extra Space Self Storage. Recently I attempted to go to my unit and was locked out of my gate code. Upon walking into the office I was told that the location was bought by Devon Self Storage back in December of 2021.

Updated review: Place has changed ownership without notice, I have no idea what has happened to my unit because i was not notified. They say my number is not in their system even though I paid for the previous month and was planning on paying for the new month. It was great, nice and clean as Extra Space and the previous owners (which most of the reviews here are for, be aware of this fact) but not sure about Devon with this shady move.
