The rating breakdown
1 of the 29 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Edgar's Moving Services are one or two star.
Worked out from 29 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other listings in Modesto
1.1 percentage points higher than the middle of the 11 listings in Modesto we can publish a rate for.

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I can’t say enough good things about Edgar’s Moving Services. We had just moved out of our home and realized very quickly that we had way more stuff than expected a completely full 26-foot U-Haul plus a loaded 20-foot trailer. I was honestly worried my family was going to be overwhelmed trying to unpack everything while I stayed behind to clean up. From the first message, Edgar was responsive, professional, and walked me through everything step by step. His crew showed up right on time and got straight to work.
I scheduled Edgar's moving for today. Moved from Turlock to Sacramento. They arrived on time, loaded very carefully and quickly. Estimate was right on track. They provided packing materials since we had run out. And they helped us pack what still needed to be packed. When they arrived in Sacramento, they unloaded everything in record time. They protected my cheap furniture as if it was expensive or antique. They were friendly, very professional, and efficient. I would definitely recommend their moving service.
Thank you so much Ms. For everything And thank you for this nice review. Good bless you.
Edgar’s Moving Services made what I expected to be a total nightmare completely painless. From start to finish, they were organized, careful, and genuinely kind. They handled every box and piece of furniture like it was their own, wrapping, lifting, and placing everything perfectly. No damage, no stress, just smooth, professional service. Moving is usually exhausting, but these folks made it feel easy. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much for everything l'm here for next time.
I had about 6 pieces of large of furniture to be moved. The came with moving blankets, door guards, floor runners to protect my home and property. I was very impressed with the way they disassemble and wrapped my furniture just to move it into my garage. Two days later they came back reassembled and placed all my furniture back into the house. It only took them an hour each day. They did a fantastic job
Thank you Ms Victoria it was a pleasure
