I don’t know how these guys are as movers because the crew never showed up. I was told the first customer was unprepared and I would be updated. Never got updated. Then they just stopped answering my calls. I went through hire a helper and it all got sorted out, but Edwards has terrible customer service. Go with Jared at Express movers of Wilmington instead. They were so great I’m glad Edwards never showed up. Who knows what would’ve happened to our stuff. Express Movers of Wilmington blow these guys away!!!
Joel this is Michael owner of Edwards Moving Myrtle Beach. You called me and I explained to you that you were looking for a moving company in Wilmington. We have the same name but no affiliation whatsoever! I'm in Myrtle Beach SC. I don't cover the Wilmington area.
I hired them to do a full service pack and move, and sent copious photos and videos to Michael, to be sure they knew exactly what and how much had to be moved from NC to SC. He sent 2 guys, rushed them the entire time they were there, underestimated truck space, left 2 storage units, an attic, and a garage untouched, damaged the home I was loving out of requiring emergency repairs, lost keys to storage units costing me lock cutting and replacement fees, lost hardware to my safety gates, requiring a last minute pet…
So here we go again! This will be the last time I tell you the following. We never moved you, I've never met you, or talked on the phone, email, or txt. I told you over what has it been 5 plus years ago that you hired a company out of Wilmington NC to move you!!
CANCELLED ON US THE MORNING THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO COME!! We hired Ewards moving company to help us move. The morning of the day that they were supossed to arrive. Edwarded texted my husband and cancelled. Giving us no time at all to hire someone else, and costing us extra money since we were unable to move what we needed to move in the time frame allotted to us. Edwards Moving company is extremely unprofessional and completely unrelaible!
Ma'am you have left a review for the wrong moving company ! I apologize someone is using my company as a reference. I never had you on the schedule for any move at all.
The team I had scheduled to empty my Budget Rental Truck never showed up. I had booked them with Michael three days prior to the scheduled move date for the 2 hour minimum. I confirmed the day before, with Michael, both the address and the time. I asked (via text) for the contact info for the team. Michael, the day before my move, said he'd send me that information later that night as they were in the process of moving stuff at that moment. I did not hear from him again that night.
Mr O'Sullivan my office tried to get in touch with you two times the day before your move to confirm our unload with you, and my crew called you three times the morning of your unload to try to confirm with you and no response either day.
Do NOT use EDWARDS MOVING unless you want house damage they don't fix and a dishonest owner. One of their movers broke a transition strip between 2 of our rooms on Monday, Sept. 23. I wasn't mad because accidents happen and I expected they would fix it. WRONG. The crew contacted the owner, Michael, and he promised to replace it the next day. He didn't show up. I had to call him Tuesday night and he said he would fix it 3 days later on Friday. He didn't show up again. He didn't communicate about the delay.
Hired the myrtle beach location for moving help, and was very flexible on the agreed upon time scheduled for 1230. I asked if there was any need to have a backup plan, and was over assured worst case would be running late. Communication was great up till noon, running late, first job more then anticipated. I was fine with that, and waited 3 hours before trying to get an update. 6 hours before I called the north Carolina office. Was told it's not their area, I push, and was told they would try and get in touch.
This is in response to my review posted yesterday. The owner of the company believes we did not hire them and have the problems we did. Wrong! We sold our house in North Carolina in 2020 and paid by check, receipt available. The mover put our belongings in UHaul storage until we purchased a new home. Delivered same on 11/21/22 to new home and paid an amount higher than original contract. Emailed photos of all damaged items and were promised someone would rectify same. Did not happen. Attention do not use Edward moving Company I paid for 4 guys he sent me 2 guys an a girl his guys damage my dinette table their broke the leg off their drag my table he don't provide any blanket to cover your furniture when I call him he ignore your phone call he talk a good game until he have to pay for your damage he don't have any insurance to repair what his guys damage you cant trust him his company nor his workers.

I've used this company 3 times now and they have impressed me more each time. My recommendation is wait until they are available, you'll be extremely happy you did. They moved all my belonging from one house to another house... lots of muscle, very professional, and southernly polite. I had 4 large hot tubs shipped here for me and my neighbors. They got all 4 off the semi and moved each into our backyards without any problem... cautiously careful, sufficient manpower, innovative, and a more than a fair price.

I located this company through the Craigs List post and, while I was very impressed with the price, I wasn't certain that I would get the best service. Boy, was I wrong! Not only was the price reasonable (compare and you will see), but this was a very professional service from start to finish. They were polite and confirmed all the details of my move. There were on time and very fast and efficient. They also were very professional with how the truck was loaded and packed.

I recently moved from the west coast to the Myrtle Beach area. The original unloaders hired by my moving company never showed, so “back up” loaders were hired, and the unloading process was a complete disaster. I was desperate to find someone who could help me organize the moving boxes in the garage and inside my home. I found Edwards Moving Labor on the internet, and decided to give them a try. They were professional, efficient, dependable, and reasonably priced.
