My father rented a storage unit that a previous co worker broke into and stole most of his belongings the night he passed away. The company whom is ran by or own was friends with my father and he was staying in their condo. They found out he had passed and immediately contact my whole family on Facebook asking us to pay his monthly rent or they were going to get rid of his things.

no video of truck pulling into yard, breaking into my RV, breaking into my trailer and stealing all contents? You'd need a truck to steal 2 generators, 1 Mx lift , 10 gallons of race fuel, all tools, all riding gear and back up gear, DVD player, dash camera, x box , boots, knee braces, 2 helmets, 1 eye protection bag with 4 sets of goggles, etc. Be warned that this place has had several large thefts recently and continues to do nothing- Find storage elsewhere
The storage unit was nice & clean unlike others I have experienced in the Myrtle Beach area. However, they are unwilling to budge an inch on their payment system. If your payment is due the 24th & you move out the 28th, they still charge you for the entire month. They refuse to pro-rate even if you give them a two week advance notice. Really doesn't seem fair, as they can re-rent your unit and make double the income on it.
What's the point of having a phone number if no one ever answers and there's never anyone in the store front? Been trying to get a hold of someone for 2 days.

Definitely five stars! Great price. If you are looking for a secured and a convenient location in the Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach & Conway area this is your location for storage. Very clean, and well maintained and lighted.
We rented a U-Haul from the town we live in to haul our tailgating setup to Coastal Carolina for Family Weekend and to visit our daughter who attends the university. We needed a spot to store it so we wouldn't have to drag it all over Horry County. Numerous storage places refused to let us rent a spot for it because they were not U-Haul dealers. Extra Room is an independent U-Haul rental facility and was more than happy to accommodate our situation. Gate access was easy and parking the trailer was a breeze.
