Elite Moving & Storage - Los Angeles Movers

BEWARE -- NOT HONORABLE | PROCEED WITH CAUTION!! My experiences are below. Given the choice I would not use them again and clearly cannot recommend them to others. - On day of move, the foreman forced me to pay an additional $400 cash. Said stuff looked to be more than originally quoted. - Despite giving what I was told by the company as a fair and reasonable tip. The foreman aggressively suggested that I needed to double that amount. Follow up conversations with managers confirmed this was standard practice.

I had the worst experience of my life with this moving company. I was initially quoted $5,000 for a full service move from a 2 bedroom condo. Upon arrival, I was not there, but they had my friend sign — and then created a new estimate that cost more than three times the initial estimate and would take TWO days to complete. We're taking a $15-16,000 ballpark because the foreman DRASTICALLY inflated the number of hours worked. What happened next was even worse.

This should be zero stars!! This was my worst moving experience to date. Do not not use this company! Promised delivery at 4:30 am, no show no call. Called at 9:00 am to say they were lost and would be there by 11:00 am. Again, no show no call. Called them at 3:00 pm they said they would be there by 6-8 pm. I asked that if they would be later than 8pm they could bring in the morning. They said it is tonight or forget it because they were on way to Oregon.

Val came to our house for a consultation. After his full walkthrough he told us how many of his men would be required and that they’d only need 1 day for the move-out and 1 day for the move-in. We agreed that his team was going to pack anything on the walls (art, mirrors, etc.), large furniture (beds, couches…), and any other miscellaneous fragile items that required extra care. Everything else we would pack ourselves. We carefully packed and labeled every box on all sides.

I made a reservation with them, they missed their (4 hour) arrival window, and didn't attempt to contact me. I called to ask for an update 30 minutes before the end of my "arrival time" window....no response. I called again, after another 30 minute wait, they said they'd call me the following day to let me know a time that would work that day....that's not how a reservation should work haha. I took time off work to arrange this move, really unimpressed with how unprofessionally this was handled.

I recently used Elite Moving & Storage to store my furniture while my house was being remodeled. To be fair, their initial service was great—picking up the furniture went smoothly and their representative, Donna, was really nice and helpful throughout that part of the process. However, when my furniture was returned, I found three items badly damaged: my brand-new living room set (which was worth about $4,000), my bed frame ($850), and a TV ($1,500).

I used elite moving in March of 2026. And I would never recommend them. Items are missing, entirely. Not miss packed but were never brought to the destination, but were removed from the first location. Not one item, not two items. Multiple items. Items were broken. My TV has grasp hand marks where they held the TV to move. They were paid to pack and move. They emptied out lightweight dressers, adding to the cost and time. These are things that usually don't need to be emptied to move.

I would not recommend them at all for several reasons. They are not equipped for a cross country move despite saying they are. This will be long. My husband hired them for a cross country move from Los Angeles. They were very pleasant on the phone getting the contract set up but made it clear we needed to have our things picked up by 1/13 to get a 1/22 delivery window. Upon arrival, we were charged over $1,000 more than our original quote due to more items.
