!!RAT INFESTATION!! !!DO NOT RENT HERE AS OF 9/2025!! They currently have a rat infestation in multiple buildings! Unless you want all your possessions covered in rat droppings, stay away! While Cindy Lou has been awesome and works hard, she is only 1 person. We had no issues for over a year in 2 different units, opened my unit up today to find this, only a couple weeks since they raised my rate too Spent all day decontaminating/cleaning my unit and had to trash a lot of items that were ruined.

Upon arriving to finally get my stuff out of storage after 3 years I lost the keys before she cut the lock to let me in I was forced to give a 5 star review. My friends who where with me where also forced to give 5 star reviews to the point she was hounding each one that came in to help me even tho they have no storage here or have ever been a customer here, so most of the reviews are probably fake. After the storage was opened I started to notice rat droppings and pee on everything.

Our experience with Extra Space makes me question how illegal their advertising is. One month free does not exist. We arrive at the Main st Manteca location. On the door the sign said they open at 9:30 we arrived at 10:00 they were closed. We reserved a 5X5 space online. Got charged service fees for what? We did it ourself. When I called and had to leave a message to enquire about getting “One month Free “ refund They called me back saying oh you have to go into the office to get that.

Omg... I can't say enough about Cindy Lou. I've been at this location on Main Street for 2 years now. Unfortunately, it's time for me to move on. Cindy is such a hard worker and really takes care of the property. When she's making her rounds and she sees you she always ask, how you doing and if there's anything you need. She has such a beautiful soul and is so pleasant to talk too. Her smile is ever so welcoming and her hugs are even better. I will miss you Cindy Lou. I truly wish there were more people like you.
