In their own words
Very Unprofessional, We booked a company whose truck broke down. They subcontracted directly to Galaxy Movers. Who then contacted us directly and insisted we pay them deposit as well as the original company. They then wanted us to cancel the contract with the original company and hire them instead. They kept saying were local and the other isn't (Galaxy isn't local, their head office isn't in Regina).
Hello Andrew ' There is lot of confusion here and some things which you are not aware . The company you hired is metropolitan movers based in Ontario. They have virtual office setup here and no trucks and yard here . they always hire subcontractors or use their trucks when they have any nearby.
I would give less than one star if I could. Yes they got me in on short notice. Even though I had contacted them more than a month ahead. The movers would hide in the trailer and when I pulled up from taking a load in my little car they would all stand up . They bullied my autistic son to sign the papers to say they didn't break anything BEFORE they would stat loading the truck. Needless to say there were damages. The ripped the front of a dresser drawer right off in such a way that it can't be repaired.
Thankyou so much for your feedback. we have a lot of 5 star review and This review has surprised us and we try to do 100% customer satisfaction and each customer is also different and In this case you have shared your part of story and it may turn around when we explain how my team tried to perform…
Scenario: moving from a 1 bedroom house into a house and garage. Daman the person on the other side of the text/phone was a good. However, the 2 guys he sent to do a move out were absolutely terrible! They were only good at wrapping up furniture. The driver stood in the back of the van and let the other guy move 90% of the boxes/totes out. He stacked them. The second guy didn’t know what he was doing most of the time. He appeared disinterested and not experienced.
I used these guys for a very small move. The owner is very nice and he was pleasant to deal with. However the two guys arrived and I had everything nice and prepared it was a simple pick up and drop off job. I explained to them they had been kind of taking their time and I was carrying everything on my own and their boss called to acknowledge the message I sent .
Refused to do the stairs in my house with a heavy end table. They moved it to the bottom of the stairs and left it. Asked for the shed stuff to be moved first and shed wasn’t even touched. Took them 6 hours just to load a truck. Unless you want to pay 2000$ to watch them move slower than turtles, hire them. Otherwise stay far far away. This was June 2025.
Hello ! This was June 19 when our team moved you from Regina to kronau, sk This was a move of 4 bedroom house with stuff in the garage and the basement. boxes were around 150, 3 set of sofa, patio stuff, dining room, 4 dressers and other stuff like end tables, some stuff.
Unreliable and Disorganized. They took the $50 deposit and said they would send someone Sunday afternoon. It was a single truckload, from one part of the city to another. They called Sunday afternoon and cancelled because their other job had more stuff then they thought and was taking longer. Atleast they gave the deposit back.
Hello Sean , Thankyou for your feedback . we booked you a day before as we were also fully booked and we already informed you about our prior bookings and as i said ,we will try to help you if our team gets free early and if we have time which you agree and next day as you said we informed you…

In their own words
Galaxy Movers did an amazing job of getting our family of four settled into our new home this past Sunday! They were punctual, professional, and communicated with us at every step. And very friendly guys who were both careful with our possessions and new home, and fast and efficient. So glad we chose Galaxy for our move!
We are glad everything went so well with your Moving, Katelyn. Thanks for letting us know good qualities about our professional team.As per our team,Your family was so kind and nice to our team.Thankyou so much for considering us for your moving
We used Galaxy Movers for our move from Regina to Pilot Butte, and they were outstanding. Our crew — Param, Joban, and Rupinder — worked nonstop from morning to night and never slowed down once. They were polite, professional, and extremely careful with everything they touched. We moved into a brand-new house, and they took extra care by laying down runners, keeping the floors clean, and making sure not to mark any walls. They handled very heavy items without hesitation and packed their truck right to the brim.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback.
From the first time you spoke to Galaxy Movers Regina, the customer rep was professional, courteous and quickly provided a quote. Once the move was booked, I received a confirmation and was asked to provide a $100 deposit which the company confirmed as received. The two men, Param and Gursimran, who came to move the furniture and contents, were courteous, professional and helpful.
Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We're thrilled to hear you had a great experience with us. It means a lot to our team, and we're always here whenever you need a hand with your next move!
I recently hired Galaxy Movers Regina Ltd for my move, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. From the initial contact to the final delivery, their team was professional, efficient, and attentive. The crew arrived on time and handled all my belongings with great care. They were especially meticulous with fragile items, ensuring everything was securely packed and transported. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout the process.
Thanks for sharing all of these details of your Moving experience and for recommending us. We really value that!
