I moved from West Seattle to Shoreline in April and it was the worst experience I have had with movers. They initially quoted me around $500 (which is why I ended up cancelling my previous mover reservation with College Hunks Hauling Junk), and ended up spending $1200 plus having nearly all of my larger items damaged with no sort of reimbursement.
Very bad company and very bad experience. They did not show up on time. Comes randomly as per there time and charge for extra hrs. They force you to give them tip. They decide what to take and what not. Took brake as they want which you don't know and they charge it. I will never pick take their service again.

We used this company because of all of the great reviews. We are incredibly disappointed with their lack of professionalism and communication and would not recommend them to anyone. We moved from Monroe to Lake Stevens. We agreed on two movers, they sent three. Not a huge deal. The movers themselves were lovely. However, they broke our $300 glass table as well as a $900 litter robot. They are offering us $72 off of our $1300 service for these two broken items that cost almost as much as their service.

I had planned my move and went with Grandma's boys. I was required to put down a deposit. It was only $50. This was a HUUUUGGGGEEEEE mistake. I would never recommend this company to anyone. My move was scheduled in the afternoon. That morning I got a call from David confirming my move. About 3 hours before the move I got another call from David, the "Manager". He was letting me know one of their movers felt unwell and he was unable to find a replacement.
TL;DR: Hidden fees, unprofessional movers, and damaged belongings. Avoid at all costs. They advertise "no hidden fees," but that is a complete lie. They charge a "travel fee" by starting the clock from the moment the movers leave their place. In my case, they charged 30 minutes for the trip to my house and another 30 minutes for the return trip—essentially a hidden $140 truck fee (at $140/hr). To make matters worse, the movers were incredibly slow and careless.

OUR BEST MOVE EVER ... AND WE'VE MOVED 17 TIMES! David was very easy work with and very responsive to our needs. Komisi, Oliver, and Kaisa were the best team with who we've ever worked. I've moved locally a handful of times, domestically a large number of times, and internationally 8 times, and we've never worked with a better team. Polite, courteous, on time, and efficient they set the bar in every area. I hope to not move again, but if we do, we will call Grandma's Boy and ask for Komisi, Oliver, and Kaisa again!

Movers were professional, polite, prompt, and incredibly efficient. The numbers we were given for contacting responded quickly to any and all communications, and the movers in person were eager to offer additional check-ins with their supervisors. Pricing was very clear! Abraham and Moe were efficient and very good on timing! I recommend sending the needed information beforehand. If I had the time to send it over I feel like the process would be even more streamlined! I paid roughly 500 for 4hrs honestly a great price for everything! Highly recommend these movers and if I ever need to move again I’ll deffinetly book through them

David and Shelton and team were amazing. We needed help packing our 4 bedroom home (we have two little kids) and moving interstate from WA to NV into two storage units. The quote was reasonable compared to others, and we appreciated that we had a dedicated truck so items didn't have to be moved or shuttled to another. The time and cost estimates were as expected. We were so impressed by how much care was put into the packing and diassembly, and then careful filling of two storage units up an elevator.
