I used this company a few years ago and had a great experience, but recently I scheduled moving service with them just for them not to show up after I went and rented a truck to get the job done. The said meeting time was 5pm and I didn’t hear from the mover until about 5:20-5:30… he wasn’t answering my calls. Calls back and says they’re still at another clients house and asked if we could push the time up to 3 hours later at 8pm. I informed him the truck was on a time schedule and that wasn’t feasible.

I tried to call all day (Wednesday Nov 6, 2024) and not a single person answered the phone at any point. I attempted numerous times to reach someone to help with moving but now I’m left to find other movers when I really wanted this company due to the five star reviews and how close they are to the place I’m moving to. I can’t stop in as I’m in another state so calling was the only option I had. I hate to leave this one star review in a sea of five star ones, but this simply wasn’t good business.
I would not hire Guys Movers again. I received a quote for $500, but it ultimately cost over $1,000, and that was after they took off an hour of the fee for taking more than twice as long as I was quoted. They were very nice, but way too slow and hid the ball on cost.
We’re a family-owned business, and one of the things that sets us apart is that our clients deal directly with the owners. That personal attention is the foundation of our nsuccess and the reason we’ve earned over 300 five-star reviews.
I hired this company on 2/3 to do my move. I was quoted $500. I agreed. The move took two trips & at that time I was told it would be about $156 per hour after. The guy who was the lead told me the quote I received was for 2hrs. Who charges …

Excellent experience from start to finish. The team was punctual, professional, and extremely careful with all of our belongings. They worked efficiently without rushing and made sure every piece of furniture was properly protected. Communication was clear, pricing was fair, and there were no surprises at the end.
