Good moving experience. However, the sofa assembly was clearly rushed and done incorrectly - they broke the frame and it requires a $1000 replacement.
Horrible. These guys are blocking our Brooklyn road—like SIX of their trucks have been here in Bushwick, Brooklyn for months! With expired Connecticut plates. Not cool guys. Blocking our dumpster too! Update: 2 years later—5 trucks, Connecticut plates, still HERE! What jerks!

In their own words
I had a move on Jan 31. I called just 2 days before and they accommodated a morning slot for me. It was 2bed apartment which I had to move within Stamford CT. Xavier and team were here on time in the morning and move was done professionally, I had a queen and a king bed and big recliner, all of them disassembled professionally and wrapped up and assembled back in the destination. They were really quick and they wrapped up stuff by afternoon. Overall a really good experience.
Thank you Edwin, Frankie, Elis, and team for the seamless move! Would highly recommend Intense Movers. They had a great sense of humour about everything and we were able to load everything into the truck and into our new home. The team took extra care not to scratch our floors -- which I really appreciate since we just got them refinished! Prior to the move, they were extremely responsive over email and text. Asking questions about our furniture for careful packaging and reassembly.
I have received quotes from a total of 6 different moving companies nearby and they had by far the best rates with quality service. We only needed to move 8-10 heavy or big furnitures. The estimate was based on the items I provided. They sent a questionnaire with all the details and clarifications , which was great to set expectations. I appreciated how detail-oriented they were so there wouldn’t be any surprises. The movers were great at their jobs.
I recently used Intense Movers to help me move from Darien to New Canaan, and they were very professional, really kind and super expedient. They were able to quickly troubleshoot when any situation arose, and extended themselves above and beyond the original quote and agreement to make my move seamless. I highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again in the future.
