Hired Jersey Shore moving and storage to move my ederly parents and the experience was very disappointing. They were overcharged by several hundred dollars above the high end of the estimated price. The company’s explanation was that the move took longer than anticipated This was surprising because I was told by a company representative that the final cost would be closer to the lower end of the quoted price range.
Perhaps the most unprofessional and unqualified company I've ever seen. Movers showed up two hours late, moved one piece of furniture, then walked off the job, saying they quit because they were too tired. When I contacted the owner, he …
I am sorry to hear you had such a bad moving experience, but you have us confused with another company. Our company would never walk off a job or show up two hours late. That is unacceptable and we would never stand for that. And the owner would certainly not blow off such a claim.
Walk don’t run away from this mover...search another one. They were very responsive when I booked them for moving and storage and their prices were a little high but their reviews were good. The movers were very nice and professional HOWEVER when my stuff came out of storage they kept charging me a fee even though I called numerous times to correct. They promise you everything hang up the phone and you never hear from them again...they lie...you have to chase them for an answer.
Mover Beware! We contracted with Adam from Jersey Shore Moving to bring our furniture from Middletown to Maryland. Very prompt responses, quotes and service….Until the movers lost bolts to our bed, broke trim on a buffet and scratched our floor. All of this was documented and acknowledged by the company. It’s been six weeks and in spite of numerous calls (daily) Adam, nor Kathy ( office manager)have answered the phone nor returned our calls.
Because there was a time lag between homes our stuff needed to be in storage for a few weeks. Jersey Shore Moving & storage moved our furniture into our storage unit at Metro on June 29 and moved it from the storage unit to our new house July 20. When our furniture arrived at the new house there was damage on a number of pieces. We are only pursuing the damages to three pieces from our nearly new bedroom set. The damage was noted with the delivery men who took photos.
I used this company to move in 2020. The movers were nice and pleasant however while moving the furniture into the new house they scratched and scraped up the hardwood floors horribly. I reached out to the company and they delayed responses and then finally just ignored my concerns.

Had such a great experience with Jersey Shore Moving & Storage! The process was super easy from the start. We set up a Facetime call to walk through the items I needed moved and quickly scheduled a date. The crew showed up right on time and worked carefully and efficiently to pack everything. I even had a couple of last minute furniture additions, and they were so kind and flexible about adding them to the truck and making sure they got placed exactly where they needed to be.
I've used this company for several moves and once for storage over the past 10 years or so and have always had an A+ experience. They're no frills, which I love. The pricing is fair and the staff is friendly, efficient, and responsive. The handles on one our dressers unfortunately broke during our most recent move and they resolved the issue within two weeks. RJ kept me posted the entire time and Cathy dropped the replacement parts off to us when they came in.
I've recently had the pleasure of working with Phil and team from Jersey Shore Moving & Storage and I would fully recommend using them for any upcoming move you may have. From the very beginning working with Phil as my initial point of contact for planning out the particulars of our move was both helpful and set my worries at ease around how the process would work.
We can’t say enough positive things about Jersey Shore Moving and Storage. We had 5-6 men help us move our four bedroom home to our new home an hour away. I was stressing about this move since I have an infant. They made the entire process stress free. The team was on time and professional. They took their time to meticulously cover and wrap all furniture pieces. We had a lot of pieces from couches, desks, dressers, beds, to arcade games, glass cabinets, and baby furniture. Everything arrived without a scratch.
