Moved from Ontario to British Columbia. Quite expensive but King's quote was competitive with other options. Dealing with Nigel in sales was good. But there were significant problems: 1. Limitations of insurance were not explained to us, leaving us with impression that ANY breakage would be covered. It was only after the move was completed that we were told that insurance only covers items packed by the movers - which was our furniture. All our boxes of valuables and fragiles and household items were not covered.
Was quoted a move price, it was confirmed, and then one week before our move they added well over a thousand dollars to the estimate. They said it was a computer glitch, but the original quote and confirmation should be honoured in this …
Hi Ian, we truly apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Our Van Line estimating program missed the $862.50 Ferry charge. Every truck heading to and from NLFD must take a Ferry. Sorry.

If you are moving are planning a move - whether big or small, long or short - we would whole-heartedly recommend King’s Transfer Van Lines-Milton. After living in the same home for 36 years we knew that the our move would be daunting. We knew we wanted to support a local business. From Day 1 when Nigel came to talk to us about the move, we felt at ease and liked what he explained to us. We wanted stress free moving days. Linda was helpful when we needed to ask questions to ensure everything went well.

Clayton, Rudy and Keith did an excellent job moving us from Ancaster to Grand Bend. Very strategic packing process so as not to damage our contents and fit everything on the truck. As far as we have noticed one week after move, we found one cheap drinking glass broke but likely because who wrapped it up (me). All in all, very professional, knowledgeable and polite. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

Clayton and Taylor were amazing during the load and the unload was equally impressive with Clayton ,Mike, John, Jimoh and Theon. Clayton packed more stuff safely into a truck then I thought was possible thank you all gentlemen it was a great experience using Kings. Oh I can’t forget Nigel and Linda for helping me start the whole process if you have to move call kings and ask for Nigel.
Our whole experience from start to finish was 5***** service. Nigel was excellent to deal with quotes and all my many questions. Glen and his crews helping carry and load/unload at both ends where polite & respectful of our belongings and crazy strong and fast workers. We cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for making our move so easy
